Good layout. Needs grass like most of the Florida courses. Greens are better than average. Pace of play was really good. Rather short for a low handicap but good for the average golfer. Good course for women and high handicaps. Really nice pro shop. Women that work in pro shop are very friendly. Nice merchandise choice. Fair prices. Little high for Bermuda Sands but not too bad. Nice bar with good food. Only negative was fairways need grass but that's normal for average Florida course. Reviewed by scratch golfer

Slow greens but good condition. Good course for high handicappers.

If this course could grow some grass it would be one of the best courses in the Ft. Myers area. It is a really good design but like most FL. public courses there isn't much grass which makes hitting irons pretty difficult. The greens were so so. Some in good condition some not so much. Back nine is better than the front. Would play again but would hit more hybrids since hitting into that ground kills my arthritis.

Weather was not very good. Intermittent rain and soggy conditions. Was surprised not on cart paths. First time playing course and a real challenge. I'm a 8 hdcp. and shot 90. Some real difficult holes. Felt like you're playing in TN. Fairways and greens were very good. Pro shop attendants were knowledgeable and helpful. Friendliest starter I have ever encountered. Will be back

Nice course. Front 9 is ok but back 9 is very picturesque on a number of holes. Greens were real good. Not real fast but ok. Pro shop staff very friendly and helpful. Would play again. Good value in April. Not sure about snowbird months. Out of the way location but worth the drive.

Considering how little rain FL. has had this year the course was in very good condition compared to some others much more expensive. Play was really slow at first with 4 groups on a par 3 but picked up later. Ranger was very friendly explaining why. Pretty good layout with some interesting holes. Would play again.

If you like crabgrass you will love this course. No grass and what there is is all crabgrass. In fairness the greens are in great condition but getting to them is another issue. Just like hitting off concrete. Don't see any way this course will recover without replanting the whole course.

The first 6-7 holes were extremely slow. 7 minutes between tee times is not enough. After that it got faster. 4 hours 35 minute to play a 5,000 yard course is way too long. Greens were pretty good. No complaints. Fairways are typical FL. at this time of year...not much grass. Nice bar with reasonable food
prices. $3 for a jumbo hot dog and chips must be the cheapest in FL. Overall would play again just be prepared to wait 10 minutes between shots.

One of the better courses in the Ft. Myers area. Much better than River Hall which is a typical Davis Love course....boring with no character. Less expensive than Colonial, Heron Glen and Veranda. Nice layout and perfect greens. Complimentary range balls and very friendly pro shop. A lot of water but doesn't come into play that much. 3 hour 45 minute round although there were only my wife and I.

River Hall is touted as being this great course in the Ft. Myers area but in fact is another boring Davis Love design. Have played 3 other of his courses and they're pretty much all boring with little character. Just my opinion from someone that plays hundreds of different courses. People at River Hall are extremely friendly from the pro shop to the starter to the bartender. Great practice facilities. Driving range, chipping and putting areas. Greens were so so and some of the fairways were in need of a lot of grass which is typical of FL. courses. Course is probably ok for the typical snowbird but for the advanced golfer it's pretty disappointing.

Played the north course. Greens were somewhat bumpy and fairways were ok. Nice course for avg. golfer. Better hit it straight. Grill room food was excellent. Great deal on Golfnow. Would play again.

Very tight executive course. Lots of water. Better hit it straight or bring a lot of balls. Guy I was playing with hits a big slice and lost a dozen balls. Can only hit driver on a few holes. Slow greens probably due to amount of play. Wind was really blowing which made it even harder. Driving range definitely needs leveled. Bring your confirmation number because they won't honor your word.

Course was really busy. Long round. One of the best layouts in the area. Neat design. Nice practice facility with free range balls which was a plus. Course was in pretty good shape considering how much play. 17 minutes late teeing off. Very fun course with a lot of interesting holes. By far the best course in the North Port, Port Charlotte area. Only negative was no ice in any of the machines. It was warm though.

A walking 5 some a few groups in front of us that were unbelievably slow and not a ranger anywhere. Never saw one. 4hr 50 minute round. Course needs water and grass bad. Other reviewers said rock hard greens and they are right. Some areas in front of greens had no grass at all just weeds. Also needs more yardage markers. Maybe that's why it plays so slow. Someone said best course in Cape Coral.

Even though this course is out in the middle of nowhere it's worth the drive. Very friendly pro shop employees. Wide open fairways but no matter where you were fairways were still in great condition as were greens. Should never lose a ball here. Only complaint was never saw a beverage cart. Saw a bunch of gators. Course has a nice layout with large greens. Long drive but would definitely play again.

First time playing this course. Great deal on Golf Now. Front 9 is very good but back 9 is exceptional.
Some beautiful holes. Fairways and greens were great. Greens weren't as slow as most area courses. Lots of water but not really in play if you hit it straight. First class operation. Has to be the best course in Ft. Myers. Pesonally better than Corkscrew, or Veranda .

Played the Oak 9 and Creek 9. Long way between greens and next tee on Creek. Really enjoyed the Creek. Oak ok. 1st hole makes no sense from back tees. My opinion. Why put sand traps right in front of green on par 3. Ok for advanced golfers but not average player. Greens are generally pretty good. A few need some work. Maint. workers were everywhere cleaning up course. Fairways were pretty good although some were lacking grass. Good FL. course. Would play again.

Played the Orange. Really windy which made it much harder. Greens are very big with a lot of undulation. Huge fairways and lots of water. Greens are really fast. Typical FL. flat course but a lot of character. Cupp designed this 18 which is much better than the Nicklaus designed other 18. My opinion. Pro shop prices are pretty high. Not really a course for novices; can 3 and even 4 putt pretty easily. Probably the best course in Ft. Myers area. 17th hole is really pretty although huge sand traps in front are strange.

Played the West and South. South is very pretty
course. Very long par 3's. West is nice but not in near as good condition. A little pricey for an executive course but this time of year that's expected.
