Chiddingfold Golf Club
Played On 09/27/2016Wet and slow!!
Damp day and the greens were wet - not soaked but a lot of surface water which suggested they had not been worked on that day. Play was slow because of a 'they shall not pass' fourball but not the course's fault. Light rough had not been cut enough so with constant drizzle it made it very hard to play.

Played On 09/23/2016Slow day out
Course in good condition other than a few bunkers still had standing water in them from a storm more than a week earlier which seems unnecessary. Three of the greens also had oil on them from a leaked mower. Otherwise the course was good but the pace of play behind a society was dire. First nine holes took two-and-a-half hours.

Played On 09/16/2016Value for money
The day we played many courses locally were closed after storms but aside from water in the bunkers, the course was in great shape. The design has made the most of the space, so some of the fairways and greens are close together. Forgiving rough and well-paced greens.

Played On 09/09/2016Lovely setting
In the countryside with some superb views, especially from the 9th and 11th tees. Not too long, the main challenges come from the contours of the land which make seemingly straightforward holes harder than they appear. Excellent value for money. A little bit of climbing, especially on the inward nine, but nothing that should deter anyone but the chronically unfit!

Well established course in the Surrey countryside which offers a really pleasant round in a lovely setting. Some of the rough is unforgiving but not unreasonably so. Love the coffee hut at halfway.
