Highlands Reserve Golf Club
Played On 08/03/2018great course, definitely play if you get the chance!
Myself & 2 sons were on holiday, renting a villa just a few miles away. We knew we'd only play the once this holiday so didn't bother bringing our own clubs - knowing that we'd have to rent clubs it was important to look for a good deal on the green fees - we found this course using the Golf Now app and secured a 'hot deal' for a Friday 9am tee off.. We arrived in plenty of time and for a few dollars purchased some balls for the range to get a bit of practice in. A warm welcome from the staff who were very good at pointing us in right direction. As it was a hot deal and we were a 3 ball, I expected we'd be paired up with a single player and this was indeed the case - we had the pleasure of playing with John, a fellow Scotsman, who was also on holiday. Fortunately for us, John knew the course very well and was great company to enjoy our round with and his local knowledge of the course was great. Me & my 2 sons are all high handicappers but we still found the course comfortable to play by playing off the yellow tees. For the better golfers, by playing off the back tees you'd still find this course challenging. In other words, the course set up enables players of all abilities to enjoy their round here. Next time we holiday here, we will certainly come back and play the course. Thanks again to the friendly staff and of course John, our playing partner on the day!!!!
