Indian Canyons Golf Resort - South Course
Played On 09/11/2019Surprised
Course condition was excellent, my only nit-pik is, in my opinion, the tee boxes needed to be mowed.. Shade provided by the neighboring mountains was welcome for the first five holes. Greens were in fine condition. Bunkers had nice sand. Play was a little slow, but I was playing with two others and we were following a couple fours. I will play there again.
Shadow Mountain Golf Club

Short course, even from the tips. Driver only used on four holes, next time it will be three. Positioning of tee shot is critical. I used an iron off the tee on many of the par fours. Many holes are doglegs, necessitating accuracy off the tee. Greens are small, some are two-tiered, many have a pretty good slope. Being below the hole makes putting much easier. Sand in the bunkers is not very fluffy; not too deep.
Played in three hours.
Desert Falls Country Club
Played On 06/28/2018Tough with many challenges
Played the Blue tees. If you can place your ball where you want it there are no issues. It's when you stray from the fairway that things get difficult, not unbearable, but challenging. To me the course rewards accuracy over length. The greens were running about nine, according to the staff. Not too fast, but downhill putts could get away from you. Lots of water to factor into your brain. Bunkers were a little firm for my tastes, but playable.
