Played this course and was able to complete the round in just under 4 hours.
Conditions were awesome, layout was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Course was in average conditions. Good track, had fun.
Slow pace of play, but average for the area.
Dos Lagos Golf Course
Played On 06/24/2019Fun Track.
Dos Lagos is definitely one of my go to courses in the area. Its a fun track with narrow (ish) fairways and good greens.
They seem to take care of it quite well. During the summer time, the drier climate makes everything a bit more challenging, and in the fall/winter, the softer conditions are a walk in the park.
Recommend you warm up in their hitting bay as they do not have a driving range, but overall a great value!
Paradise Knolls
Played On 08/05/2018Its a "low-budget" course and you get just that.
Our threesome came to play late in the evening. And it was fairly open.
Only got to play the front 9 plus some holes on the back.
The course is okay. Nothing to write home about. Just be careful on holes 4 and 5 as they cut the bamboo down and you can smell the nasty cow farm just west of them. Flies everywhere on that portion of the track and the smell is awful.
I only recommend this course to give you a quick play for an OK price.
You will be met with the types of golfers that flood the "low-budget" courses and that type of demographic do not really adhere to common golf courtesy, if you know what i mean.
If you were looking for a great experience, you will not find the lush fairways or perfectly treated greens. They are riddled with divots by the end of the day, but i enjoy this place as it gives me a chance to practice in tough conditions.
If you're looking for a "WOW" experience, i recommend Goose Creek located not too far from this track. A bit pricier, but it is a fantastic course to play.
I do keep coming back to paradise knolls because it is a bit nostalgic for me. Scored a Double Eagle on hole 17, so this place will hold a small piece of my heart.
Sierra Lakes Golf Club
Played On 12/03/2017Fantastic Track. Love this course.
This course is absolutely great. The bunkers were not too packed, the greens rolled true, the fairway conditions were refreshing, the rough was well defined, and the tee boxes were level.
The only downside was the 5 hour round. Being we played on the weekend, it was to be expected. But we were indeed waiting a while for the group in front of us to find their balls. Aside from that, it was a great relaxing experience. There were Marshalls patrolling the course to cater to our needs if we needed and that is hard to come by from courses in the area. We would definitely be back again.
Cresta Verde Golf Club
Played On 04/29/2017Course Conditions Rough
Played this course and was very displeased with the way it played. It would have been a fantastic course but the only gripe is the awful fairway conditions. Half the time it felt like trying to hit off of concrete, the other half it felt like hitting off of crab grass. Everything is so dried out and dead out there that it made me appreciate the better kept courses in the area. Other than that. If the course was actually well maintained or rejuvenated to the point where it had some life to it, i would have enjoyed it. The course lay out is challenging, but the major downer is the conditions. Tee boxes are in bad shape, greens aren't kept or pressed, and the fairways are roughs, and the roughs are overgrown weeds...
Whispering Lakes Golf Course
Played On 12/17/2016Goose feces, slow pace of play, no Marshall and terrible etiquette.
Today was the most perfect day to golf. Woke up bright and ready with my dad and brother only to be greeted with fantastic sunshine. We got to the course ready to play in this fantastic weather only to be forgotten about by the "Starter". We were 2nd in the queue to tee-up and then he completely skipped our names and let another group play in front of us. We were a walking 3-some ready to grip it a rip it, but were forced to play behind the slowest most inconsiderate group in front of us who happened to be a 5-some in Basketball Jerseys and Jeans.
After 3 holes the group in front were two holes BEHIND. We asked to play through and they refused to let us. We were hoping to see a Marshall help aide the pace of play, but there were none to be found. Our rhythm and tempo set from the beginning of the day was horrendously thrown off by the lack of authority on the golf course. This would have been fine had it only been the first time it happened to us, but this was the second time it had happened to us in our few times playing this course.
I must bid a farewell to Whispering Lakes. These past few experiences have not been optimal and have frankly ruined our optimism for this course. The perfectly kept greens are not worth the hassle of dealing with anarchy on the golf course due to more than rowdy guests.
Goodbye, Whispering Lakes.
