Great Eagle Golf Club
Played On 01/11/2020Great Eagle in January
I've noticed some definite improvement of this course over the last couple of years, and kudos for that, but it still has a ways to go. If the whole course could be kept up like the publicly visible 10th, it'd be a gem, but, as it is, once out of public sight, it isn't so much. I think, to most golfers, the course is likely worth the price but the cart paths are back-breakers and if you want to encourage golfers to stick to the paths, they should be a priority to be improved, but Great Eagle deserves a recommendation for its availability related to its price and by visible improvement efforts which I hope will continue.
Peoria Pines Golf Club

Peoria Pines has improved greatly over the past couple of years and was an overall great experience on a beautiful day. The staff, the course, and the other golfers were all a pleasure on our 18 hole outing. I really like the mixture of short and long holes with just the right amount of hazards. Rather than go on and on, just go for a round and I do believe you'll see definite value for the cost of this course.
Desert Mirage Golf Course

This was a great experience. It's a moderate difficulty, 9 hole course, with just a few minor hazards and well maintained fairways and greens. We scheduled a mid-day tee time near the end of March when the temperatures were in the 80's and although we didn't see a refreshment cart until the 7th hole, there was ice water at each tee. And what a great value! Just $12 WITH cart, taxes and fees included. I'll go again without hesitation.
