This course is the best ”working mans” golf course I think I have played. No frills clubhouse just a great course layout and very well kept. It has 3 - 9’s so you get a different look every time you play. If you are looking for a great course without the frills, and a reasonable price this is the place.

This is the third or fourth time I have played and each time it is a great experience. The course has a great layout with plenty of risk/ reward decisions challenging your confidence as well as your ability. Extremely well manicured and always a delight to play. This is the best course in the area and my favorite.

I played the Highlands course. The front nine was really different, relatively short and tight but the course conditions were not good. It has a lot of crabgrass was was in generally poor condition. The back nine saved a much poorer review score as the course conditions were much better. With all the great courses in the area, I would recommend numerous others before this one.

As above but the greens had crabgrass problems. Other than that a 5 star course.

I played here once before and the back nine was closed due to wet conditions. I was not told ahead of time the back nine was closed. This time we played, the 10th hole was permanently closed (reconstruction and relocation of the hole) and the par five 18th hole was made into a par three with the supposed green 175 yards out in the middle of the fairway without any putting surface. Again nothing was told to us ahead of time until we got to the course. We played the 1st and the second hole again to get 18 holes in. Don't put this course on your list to play for at least another year from now.

The course has a great track. Plenty of challenges with risk reward. Course was not in the greatest condition as they sprayed or put some type of crab grass killer down recently so there were several holes with a lot of brown dead crabgrass spots however this should pay dividends in a month or two. All in all, a really nice course.

Great course and in great condition! This is a very playable course with a lot of water and some big decision making holes, risk/reward for extra yardage or lay up vs go for the gold. The course drains well with very little water pooling after a big rain. In my opinion this course is the best in the area. Most enjoyable day!

I have played here 3 times in the last 3 months and given 4 or 5 stars but was truly disappointed today. They had 7 inches of rain in the last 3-4 days and the course should have been closed until it dried out. Despite Cary path only the course was completely wet. As I walked in the fairway I was sinking 2-3 inches trying not to make huge footprints that would ruin the course. Wound out only playing about 9 holes . Poor decision by management to keep it open.

Unfortunately we had to play the front nine twice because of 5 1/2 inches of rain fell in the last three days. The layout of the course was a bit tight meaning not a lot of room between other close by holes and risk of hitting someone on another hole with a wayward shot. The greens were small which added to the challenge. There are numerous holes in the layout which gave you a different type sof challenges. I I enjoyed it and will play it again.

Really enjoyed this course. Great layout with plenty of water and challenges. The course was in awesome condition like playing on carpet.. One of the nicest courses I’ve played only downside was it was recently aerated which I was told about in advance.

The only reason I downgraded the conditions is because it was just aerated otherwise it was in great shape and a pleasure to play!

I retired a year and a half ago and joined Minebrook last Spring as a weekday member. There is no better value for golf on God's green earth. One extremely reasonable fee and no other costs what-so-ever... no cart fees no initiation fee no nothing, just show up, check in and play. I played in excess of 150 rounds last year and never had so much fun in my life! The staff are all awesome! I even booked a Sweet Sixteen party for my daughter there and the party was unbelievably fantastic, good food, reasonably priced and Courtney took care of everything. My hat's off to the entire staff for an fantastic year. (I joined again this year as you might have guessed.)

The course is one which is relatively short but you can get into a lot of trouble with errant shots. The greens had problems with fungus during the latter part of the year but I expect it will be back to normal in 2020. The course personnel are outstanding and personable. It's an outstanding value for the average golfer.

Poor course conditions but I was told they were working hard to improve them.
