About
I have been playing the game since I was 9 years old, and have been an avid player ever since. I have been lucky enough to play courses throughout the country, and designed to challenge any skill level of golfer. I play mainly for the pleasure of the sport, but am looking to get into the more competitive side in the upcoming years.

Prairie Vista Golf Course
Played On 03/26/2016Prairie Vista GC
Prairie Vista is one of my favorite courses to play in Normal IL. I'm a college student, who has been playing golf for 9 plus years, and it is one of my favorite courses to just get out and play on. I have started making it my course to start my season with. The course is forgiving for the most part put some holes will challenge any golfer. It is a great bang for the buck and I recommed this course for beginners, intermediate, and junior players.
Glendale Lakes Golf Club
Played On 03/10/2016Glendale Lakes
Glendale Lakes is definitely a course with huge potential. I have played here mulitiple times and they have made some improvements to the course but it still needs some TLC. The water hazards are a great way to challenge yourself, but that added hazard of geese on almost every hole is quite a pain. Once you get through the first few holes where there is a little less water the geese problem does go away, but it could still be better.
St. Andrews Golf & Country Club - St. Andrews Course
Played On 03/07/2016A Local Gem
I have been playing at St. Andrews for about nine years now. Playing when I was first introduced to the game, all through my four years on the high school golf team, and through college. It's a great course to go out and play 9 or if you are looking for a days worth of golf 18 is always a great option here. I rated this course with an overall rating of Good, not because of anything with the staff or club itself, but because it is a public course that is played heavily by company outings, local high schools, and by both beginners and advanced players, the pace of the course can vary. For myself and the group I play with we average 9 holes in about 2 hours give or take a little bit of time, but that does vary on the time that we tee off at. Early morning tee times are about an hour and 45 for 9, whereas a 3 PM tee time will take about 2 hours and 15 or more. Definitely a great course though and twilight golf is a recommened option to get the best bang for your buck.
The Den at Fox Creek Golf Course
Played On 09/30/2015The Den
This is one of my favorite courses in Bloomington-Normal to play. I was able to play the same day as their hardest pin tournament, and it was one of my favorite rounds of golf so far. We paid $18 for green fees and a cart, the course was playing fantastic. When we got to the first green we got to truly see how insane the pin locations where, but it made it that much better. By far, it is a fantastic value for your dollar, and the course is very well maintained!
Bartlett Hills Golf Club

I have played this course now four or five times, and it has been fantastic every single time that I have played it. I love the narrow fairways with the 40+ year old trees lining them. You get great golf play, as well as a beautiful course to enjoy. Every time I have played here my foursome and I did 18, and we were averaging around 4 hours with a quick pit stop at the half way house. I did play this course once where I walked and it can provide some challenges with the elevation changes, but overall it was still great. It is a great course and slightly hidden, which is nice since it keeps the pace of play faster than other courses. Overall this is a fantastic course and I would recommend this to anyone looking to challenge their abilities.

This course is by far one of my favorite to play. Not only is it a great value, but it is a fantastic course for golfer who are looking to challenge themselves, dealing with water hazards and long fairways. I have played here a few times and every time there is something new to challenge my skills as a golfer. 10/10 recommend this course to someone who is looking to test their abilities and learn to become a better golfer.
Cantigny Golf - Lakeside/Hillside
Played On 07/25/2015Fantastic Course
I have played this course three times now and it never seems to disappoint me! This course in particular provides plenty of challenges for any skill level of golfer. With that being said I do not recommend this for beginner golfers, who are not confident in their abilities to hit greens. I highly suggest that if you are not a long hitter with your irons, you lay up. The greens here are amazing, they have played well on both of their courses. They can be challenging at times, but they have a great firmness to them. This course also has a really great setting! To even get to the course you drive down a road where the trees surrounding the course are easily 60+ years old, and then when you pull in you are greeted with lush greens, and beautiful scenery.
