Golf Club at Vistoso

Played Vistoso for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the course. Fairly rolly course with lots of desert along the fairways in which to get into trouble with errant shots. Wonderful mountain views on every hole, greens were in good shape and quite quick and the fairways and tee boxes were in good shape, too. Thoroughly enjoyed the abundance of desert birds, reptiles and animals all day long.
I recommend this course highly.
Hawk's Eye at Shanty Creek

Always enjoy Hawk's Eye when we make the drive from Leelanau. Took nearly 5 hours for 2 of us to complete 18 due to the pokiness of the parties ahead of us. Ranger should have been out there speeding things up a bit. Other than that I recommend HE highly.
The Summit at Shanty Creek

Shanty Creek Summit is an excellent choice for the older player who hits his drives 200-240 yards. The holes are not overly long, even from the back tees. The terrain is varied with some steep hills to hit over and through. All in all, the three of us had a great day of golf on this course.
The Leelanau Club At Bahles Farms
Played On 9/11/2013This course is very picturesque with lots of elevation variation.
Very enjoyable course to play. Lots of variation between holes and lots of elevation changes, which makes for a fun and sometimes tough round of golf. Beautiful scenery throughout. My favorite local course here in NW Michigan.
