Pine Creek Golf Club
Played On 06/07/2018Conditions are almost normal!!
Despite an unexpected shower that delayed the round about 30 minutes it provided some much needed water. It soften things up nicely!!
I usually try to find the hot deals, because they are reasonable for a round of golf, but the prices seemed to have gone up. Last year I was paying $10 less.. That is my only complaint..
Just 1 month ago the course was still suffering from a very tough winter. It appears that Pine Creek has made a nice investment back with heavy watering.

Winter has taken it's toll on Pine Creek. Fairways were very dried out despite them watering and air rating them.. It looks like it still needs a month or two to recoverGreens still have too much sand on them to get an honest putt. I know they need to make money, but they should be charging a huge discount. Good thing it was a Hot Deals time!!!
Antler Creek Golf Course
Played On 03/09/2018Great course, just needs time to recover.
Lack of water / rain and in the few months has made this great course not the best choice at this time. All the greens have sand on them and it car path only. I’ll be back when it recover though.
Pine Creek Golf Club
Played On 12/15/2017Still one of my favorites!!
I think because of greens having been sanded recently and not being able to drive on the fairways it should be even cheaper than summer hot deals...

I play here a few times a year and love this course as it’s akways in great condition. When I played this past Thursday they never mention there was any advisories and I booked it. Well every green was like putting on a waffle and sanded. It was no fun for me and two other friends playing. I hope it gets better soon.
Patty Jewett Golf Course - Plains Nine
Played On 11/10/2015Patty Jewwitt Looking GREAT even in November!!
I know it's November and everyone is trying to play that last minute round, but sending out foursomes every 8 minutes is not how to make golf enjoyable. We pulled up to play at our tee time and there was a delay (not a shocker), but 4 players on the green, 4 players waiting in fairway and 4 more on the tee means something is not right. I asked the Starter if I could go out on the Prairie (designated for 9 holes that day), because there was only a twosome on the teebox and players approaching the green at that time. I was warned that it was slow too, but nothing like what I saw going on the Peak... Turned out that the 9 holes on Prairie was smooth and did not wait until we got to the 9th hole!!! Then finished the round on a completely open Peak, because no one except a few single walkers were in front of us. The course was in excellent condition. A few bumpy greens and tons of leaves that would have been nice if they were mowed up that morning knowing that the weather was going to be excellent. FUN round though and a few lost balls in the rough because of the leaves... That will teach me not to hit them straight..
Shining Mountain Golf Club
Played On 09/10/2015Great Views - Poor Grrens
The course was wide open. Played as a single until the 4th hole when I caught up to others. Then waited for another single to join up with. Tee boxes and fairways great!! Greens not so much. There were many dead spots that effected putting. Not a great putter so not so much!!! LOL!!! Elk have been visiting the course and there was evidence on greens and fairways if you know what I mean!! Had a GREAT time as the staff was friendly and accommodating, because I got there 10 minutes late. I definitely would play there again and make the 40 minute drive from Colorado Springs.

Played On 08/14/2015Nice and Slow, you see. Nice and Slow
Need Marshals out on the course, because 6 hour-long rounds iare not fun. Waited on every hole after the first one.
Antler Creek Golf Course
Played On 04/30/2015Not quite ready yet
The course looked liked it was still in the winter. The greens still in poor shape and have too much sand on them. I like the course, but will not be back for at least a month or so to see if it improves.
King's Deer Golf Club
Played On 03/29/2015Kings Deer Early Season Play
I have played here in the past and really enjoy the course, but Mid-March is not the time to be there. Greens are still brown from the winter and even worse still have sand on them. There are some bunkers that have no sand in them and just mud. That is really un-acceptable. Fairways were pretty good, but again Monument area gets more snow than other parts of the Springs. One would think they would fertilize the course more and take advantage of the extra water.....
Hi Tligotti,
Thank you for your feedback. We truly appreciate hearing what our golfers have to say, the good and bad. We hope you will come back again soon, and give Pine Creek another chance.
Thanks!
