Great course, great layout, great conditions

Really liked this course. Every thing on the course was in great condition. Only odd thing is paying extra for range balls, never had that down here in HHI area, also the hitting area on the range was basically just sand with sparse grass on it. No big deal though. Greens are lush, fairways are in good condition. Tee boxes are average to good. First time seeing the course and shot an 83. The layout is great for any level of golfer depending on which tees you play.

Beauty course.

Played this course last year around the same time of year. Was nice then and even better this year. Its had more rain in the past month so everthing was green and lush. Greens putt beautifully and true. Place the ball off the tee properly and you can score well. Start hitting left and right and you are looking at double real quick. (Hint: go irons off the shorter par 4 tee boxes)
Rate was decent ($70 with fees/tax on GolfNow, not firesale) but you can find other courses within HHI/Bluffton of similar quality cheaper. You pay $10 per round extra for Jacks Name. Absolutely still worth playing. Try to get the fire sale deals for $39 when available.
Staff is friendly and professional. Pace of play was not an issue. Played round in 4hrs 20mins.

Very Nice course.

Beautiful course with challenging layout. We played for $40 PP so was definately worth the money.
Only downside was that the greens were freshly airated and sanded. This is to be expected because of the time of year. But it will realistically cost you 3 or 4 strokes per 9 if you are a decent putter.
Odd note: I asked if DL3 comes to the course often since his name is on the design team and he plays The Heritage each year which is 20 mins away. They told me he came on grand opening day 20 years and hasn't come once since. Seems odd but doesnt take away from the course.
