Always love playing Eagle Mountain. Staff was stellar and changed our tee time when we got delayed by a road closure. Only negatives were the condition of the fairways (lots of bare and brown spots) and the pin placements on some greens. Those issues make it hard to give the course a high rating at this time.

A challenging course in a beautiful location. This course requires lots of local knowledge or numerous rounds played to know the precise spot to hit your shots. I played pretty well, but was "rewarded" with bad bounces and terrible lies. A good course for the money, but I'd rather play Legend Trail or Verde River if I'm in North Scottsdale.
Copper Canyon Golf Club - Vista/Lake Course

First time playing this course. It's a long way from anything, but a great layout and beautifully manicured. They are doing some reconfiguring on the back side and could use some better signage redirecting the cart path route. Also a beverage cart for on-course snacks and drinks would improve the experience.
Thank you for your comments. The front nine is more traditional and the back nine (especially holes 12-16) are more of a target golf experience. The GPS system we have is very accurate and can pin point the yardages to any landing area you need. Now that you have seen the course, hope your course knowledge carries over to your next round out here.
