We showed up for 11:16 tee time at 10:50, only to be told they were out of carts. Come to find out there were four groups in front of us waiting for carts. Then they gave three carts to 6 people with two sets of bags. Turns out all six were actually playing. All beginners,!! We didn’t tee off until after 12:00 and pace of play was horrendous. Not a pleasurable round. Love the course, hate the round.

Front nine was in reasonable shape. Some tee boxes could use a mower blade. Back nine greens were like putting on a mine field. Generally a great layout, friendly staff. Needs work. Won’t return until winter

Although I enjoy the course layout and have played the course several times a year over the last 10 years, the course is in the worst condition I have ever seen. I was anxious to bring a couple friends to experience what I thought would be a great day. I spent rather whole round apologizing for the course conditions. Dried out, taken over by weeds, splotchy greens, bunkers harder than concrete . Won’t be returning. Too many good courses in the area to risk another crappy round. Sorry, but true!

Slow slow slow and more slow!! Tee boxes need some work. A little sand in the bunkers would be nice. Generally a nice layout in need of some care

The course layout is top notch. The greens were about as bad as they could be I won’t return until I see some good reviews

The course layout is great challenge. The course conditions are the worst in the west valley.

Layout was good but definitely a faders course. Only three holes were drawers holes. Course in Good condition, pace of play was good, but got taken at the arroyos grille. $8.79 for a mediocre hot dog at the turn and $28. For 4 draft beers on the 19th hole. Unacceptable!!

Pace of play was over 5 hours. Great layout except for bunkers. Like hitting off of concrete. Greens also hard and not receptive I will not be returning

Love the course but will never go back. Golf is long enough playing foursomes , Watching fivesomes all day with groups that walk so slow they look like they are walking backwards, waiting 10 minutes at each tee box makes for an extremely long round of golf. I’d rather not play than suffer through that again. Shame on any course that allows 5 players

Love the layout, course in pretty good condition. Practice putting green was way faster than actual greens. Pace of play was horrid. Had a 1:53 tee time, teed off at 2:25 and finished the last two holes in the dark. Waited at every hole.

Pace o play was 5.5 hrs. Greens pathetic

The layout of the course is just fine. The greens were unplayable, not because they were fast but because they were hard as concrete with dead grass rolled and painted green. Not sure what sun city courses are thinking. Very frustrating to hit greens in regulation and have a 25 yd chip from off the back of the green, only to be chipping back on from the front of the green. Unplayable greens contributes to the poor pace of play

I'll not return. Pace of play was horrid from the first tee on. one hour to play 3 holes. nearly three hours to complete 9. Unless you play the course repeatedly, the greens will drive you nuts.
