I will preface this review by saying this used to be one of my favorite public tracks in the DMV, almost on Whiskey Creek level. However Potomac Shores is in a complete state of disarray right now. Heavy machinery on almost every hole on the back nine, the majority of fairway bunkers are ground under repair, multiple large “ground under repair” areas throughout the fairways and rough, and even the “repaired” areas around greens have significant sod seams resulting in some very tricky lies. IMO they shouldn’t even have golfers on this course right now. I really liked Potomac Shores the first few times I played there, but it’s looking like they need another 2-3 months before I will be giving them another $60-90. Hope you can get it fixed this season...

This course was in great shape last year, and it seems like they are getting ready for another good year. Zoysia is still dormant but very playable, especially on the back nine. They just punched so greens bumpy in spots. Course should be in great shape in the next few weeks. Really looking forward to multiple rounds at Bristow Manor this season

Greens roll true. Layout is pretty nice, but challenging. Still waiting for the Bermuda to come alive but fairways weren’t as bare as some others in the area

It’s January, and we’ve had a ton of rain. The bunkers are in pretty bad shape and the course is wet, mainly in the rough. But I still love old hickory, and the rates they are offering make it well worth it. Can’t wait for golf season and April/May when I know the grounds crew will have this place dialed in again

This course is in fantastic shape, from tee to green. Challenging layout but the sights and course conditions are second to none!

Tee boxes, fairways and greens are fantastic. Course is in great shape and yet there is still maintenance going on. The staff is doing a great job out there at Bristow!

Bristow is always a tough layout, but the course conditions right now are awesome.

Short course but some nice holes. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in great shape. Rough can be thick, but that's why they call it rough!

Paid $36 on the hot deal and was well worth it. Course is in as good a shape as I've seen it in 20 years. Greens were a tad bumpy in areas, but overall great value for the money, especially on a Sunday. Finished 18 holes in 3:45!!!!

The conditions of this course have varied over the last few years. Yesterday I was surprised by how many areas were brown or needed maintenance. Golfers need to do a better job fixing ball marks on greens, but course maintenance also has room for improvement. Overall good value at $30-40 on a weekday but I would be upset paying the $90-100 greens fees on a weekend

Great layout and conditions very nice. Beautiful views. Back nine is very tight and the greens are extremely hard. All in all great course, a must play

The course was is superb condition. Very unique layout but fair. Only complaint is not too many chances to hit driver on the back

There is some manicuring needed on the tee boxes and fairways. Greens are in pretty decent shape, especially on the back nine.
