The two problems are --if your ball is not in the fairway and rolls in the second cut , (that was mowed to app.2") you can't find your ball. Because the earth under the evenly mowed grass is not even, it's like an egg crate so the ball sets down in and you can't find your ball unless your standing on top of it .even when 4 guys seen exactly were the ball landed . And this leads to lost balls and slow play.
Second - while we were putting the greens keeper would not stop mowing the fring around the putting green, (never seen anything like this from a course maintenance employee this is crazy.)
