Fairways were in decent shape except for all the divots that were not sanded after they were created. That is on the clientele playing there. The greens on the back nine were dodgy at best and the majority of sand traps thruout lacked enough sand in them.

The course and people are great but the number of carts they have available for rental is abysmal. We had a12:30 tee time and cold not get out until 1:20 because there were no carts available. Now keep in mind this is a 36 hole complex (championship and executive courses) and was the only facility in the Sun City Rec system that is open now because all the other corses that they own are being overseeded so all the carts they have at those facilities are sitting parked in cart barns making no $$$ for them whatsoever. Mismanagement or poor planning for sure at the administrative level….

Had not played here in approximately five years and was surprised at some of the changes, mostly with the amenities. The range was now covered and one had to hit off a mat a lot like Cracker Jacks entertainment center. So there is that. They also updated their carts, they were electric and were equipped with speakers but nobody in our group could figure out what they were there for.
The course itself was in OK shape with most of the tees being under reconstruction, fairways were a bit spotty, greens and sand traps were fine. The worst I can say about it is the pace of play. 4.5 hour round in mid week does not cut it for me, used to playing in 3.25 hours on the West Side courses in Phoenix and Sun City at least this time of year…

Character in its design but the overall condition is a bit on the tawdry side. Fairways and greens were generally in good condition but the tees, sand traps and rough were, to put it mildly, not good.. Tees were choppy, sand traps did not have much sand in them and were rock hard and the rough was a real kidney killer if you were in a cart. The par 5 holes are all awesome along with holes 11 and 12

Ok, I realize my view on this is of the minority but I gotta say I had no problem enjoying playing this course even though they did not overseed it in the Fall. Going forward I hope they consider this in the future for their whole circuit of courses….

The course in general was in great shape and the Deal Time price I got it for was an added bonus. I was surprised though by all the fairway divots, for every time I sanded or replaced my divot I usually filled a couple of others walking back to my cart….

The fall overseeding rye grass is dying out leaving lots of bare spots in the fairways. Green and tees are in great shape. Can’t say bad or good about the sand traps because I was lucky enough to avoid them this round…..

Front nine was in great all around shape, not so much with the back nine. The greens were dicey to say the least. Very bumpy and not at all giving a true roll…

Overall course was in decent shape, however the greens definitely need some TLC with bare areas showing on most of them...

The course is in great shape. The greens are challenging but in perfect condition. They even have the speed right considering all their undulation. The pace of play was OK but have played quicker on some of the other Sun City courses. Overall though a pleasant golfing experience...

But still needs plenty of work on the periphery. Tees, fairways, greens and even some of their traps were in pretty good shape. That being said the greens were slicker than dog snot!! If you chipped to above the hole your next putt was definitely a challenge.....

If you get above the hole, the greens are brutal!! Most greens on this course have a back to front pitch and the conditions are glasslike. It was difficult for all members in our foursome to finish near the hole when we putted from a position above it. I don’t pretend to be a knowledgeable greens keeper but it would seem to me raising the cutting blade just a bit for a few days could slow them down to a reasonable level. Some, not all sand traps could use a tad more sand in them also. If you like a challenge, play this course....

Course is in great playing shape, down to the sand traps. A good mix of trees, water and sand to make it challenging but fair. And on GolfNow, if buying a Hot Deal very affordable for this time of year....

But the pace of play registered in the negative column, and this was on a Monday....YIKES!!!

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The course in decent shape and pace of play is steady. On a busy day, a four hour round is not out of the question. Overall a very good experience....

but the course was in great shape. Pace of play was great until we caught up with a slow foursome in front of us. If they were aware of golf etiquette they would have let us, a twosome, play through. Instead we just bypassed the 10 th hole and were free and clear the remainder of the round...

but it could use a few more power carts. Having only 10 carts available for rental just seems pathetic. Most courses throughout the country look at cart rental sales as an essential revenue stream. I understand a lot of Sun City residents own there own carts but adding 3 to 5 carts would eliminate delayed reserved tee times due to lack of carts.....

The course is in great shape post overseed, but the strict cart path only rules are draconian and slow up play horribly. The rough was not over seeded so let carts drive on it.....

Cart path only rule is stupid beyond belief. One should be able to drive in the rough since it was never over seeded. It slowed down pace of play tremendously, so much so that by the 15th hole we got disgusted and drove off the course.. my suggestion is to stay away from this and every other Sun Ciyt course until they lift the cart path only demand....

except the sand traps. The two traps I landed in had very little sand in them and one of the guys I played with agreed. They had the 90 degree cart rule and that worked in their favor as a plus and it has a few interesting holes. I would play here more often but it’s a long ride to get there for me....
