Indigo Lakes Golf Club
Played On 03/16/2015Very Tight
I enjoyed the course. Compared to other courses played the week in Daytona Beach, I would have to say the greens were second best of the 7 different courses I played that week. Spruce Creek were Bent Grass and better to putt on and in better shape. I would recommend the course to golfers who don't stray too far from the fairway as it is not a very forgiving course for the errant drive or approach shot. Nice track with different holes.
South at Daytona Beach Golf & Country Club
Played On 03/15/2015OK
If your goal is to just go out and hit the ball around, then the course is fine. Not in the best of shape but that is probably because Florida needs rain and most courses have the same problem. Good course for the guy or gal just wants to get outside and enjoy the exercise.
Kino Springs Golf Course
Played On 03/14/2014Nice Course
Coming from the North playing any course in March is great. Enjoyed the course. Pretty wide open, not much trouble any hole. Fairways are wide and hard with lots of roll. On most approaches to the green you can probably go down a club unless you can make the ball stick as the ball will roll a long way
The Club at Starr Pass - Rattler/Coyote
Played On 03/10/2014Not from the Tips
Can be extremely difficult for the average player. Narrow fairways and tough greens. We played from about 6100 yards and still found it narrow. I found it fun to play as long as you don't mind losing a few balls and don't mind 3 putting a few times. If you are a serious golfer, don't lose your concentration and become frustrated because it will be downhill from there.
Valencia Golf & Country Club
Played On 1/28/2013Great value for Southwest Florida Green Fees
Loved the course. Greens and fairways in excellent condition. Each hole offered different opportunity for club selection. Some narrow fairways and some wide fairways. Greens were fast but true with lots of fun breaks. Really thought course was good value compared to other courses in the area.
Stoneybrook Golf Club
Played On 1/27/2013Great for area at discounted rates.
Certainly better than most but Green Fees at $99. seem high. We normally play Michigan courses for much, much less so it is hard to compare for this market. There are other courses in the area (Naples) which are nicer for less money.
Mirror Lakes Golf Club
Played On 1/26/2012Nice course but nicer courses are available at about the same cost.
Found the course to be open and golfer friendly for the errant shot. A little difficult to get to if you unfamiliar with the area.
Not a lot of trouble for the average golfer. No challenge for the 12 or better handicap player. Some traps need work. At $70 I found it somewhat overpriced and the course was not busy and that may be because of the price/challenge relationship. I would play it again but only if it were in the $50 range.
