Usually a great pace of play. Can play really tough if the wind blows and dries things out. Greens get fast when it doesn't rain. Don't drive it through the dogleg or you may not find it in the hazard. It really helps if you can work the ball both draw and fade. Big hitters may want to play a lot of irons from the tee. No driving range.

The layout makes it challenging with the wind. Difficult club selection on some holes where the wind is blocked by the terrain and trees. Conditions and pace of play are usually very good. A bit pricey for Madison area, lots of other choices that are just as good for less. The clubhouse is outstanding for after the round. Great food and drink.

This is in better shape than anytime I can remember. There are two 18 hole courses here. Nothing spectacular but there is plenty of challenge and great conditions. Can play a little slow occasionally like anywhere. Best value in the area, and the only thing you don't get here that you get at the more expensive places is the frill. If it is wet, you'll have to walk.

Terrific layout, have to keep it in play. Have been playing this for years. Early and late season conditions can be rough. Easy to lose balls if you don't hit straight. High risk reward value.

Very nice out of the way place to play.
