I really enjoyed the challenge of the course as it was as the name implies The Highland course. The greens were course is nice and wide open on 15 of the holes with no water to worry about. We will go back.

Our first time playing the course. It was in pretty good condition except for the greens. They rough and that may be due to it being mid May. The pace of play would be my only complaint. There were 5-8 groups backed up and no one was out controlling the pace of play. There was a group of three about 3 groups ahead of us searching for their ball far to long. This really needs to be addressed by the course.

This is the second time I played the East Wing and the conditions were very poor. It is to be suspected because the time of season. My score is low because the training of the staff is extremely poor. It was mid Saturday and the cart girl had no food except for Chocolate bars, chips, and peanuts. When we rented the cart there should always be a warning that it is cart path only. I would of never rented the cart. There were times when we were running to get back to our cart because we had hit the ball on the opposite side of the cart path and the group behind us was waiting. These are little things that add up to big things.

The course was in fairly good shape.
The course is flat and wide open and the greens were in good shape. There are a few holes with water that come into play which is rare in Arizona on the courses that I have golfed. I would personally not pay full price for the course.

We golfed the course the day before however wanted to return to golf Coyote as we golfed RoadRunner & Rattler the day before. There are 3 nine's which I always enjoy. The pace of play was very quick because the course did not have a lot of people on it. It was only highs of about 51 today with winds at 13MPH. Enjoyed the second time around much more because of the cooler weather plus we were more familiar with the course. The course is short from the blues. Rattler 2797/Roadrunner 2560/Coyote 2787. From the Golds Rattler 3440/Roadrunner 3187/Coyote 3431.

The course was in good shape except the greens were all marked up. The ball surprisingly was not hindered too much by the greens being marked up. The staff were friendly and we were able to store our bags there for the next days round. I enjoyed the course.

What I really enjoyed about the course is the layout and different challenges of some of the holes. There was great variety of layout and risk reward shots that made me think twice about going for it or laying up.
Will go back for sure.
