Whispering Pines Golf Course
Played On 07/31/2023The recent negative reviews by others are very unfair and rather unrealistic. For the money and recognition that beginners play this course, the course is very nice. The greens have some challenges but overall, you will be pleased with the experience. Play it. I like the simplicity of this place.

The course had a good variety of lengths, doglegs and green undulations. And walking is a reasonable option.

The Club at Shannondell

I like older style courses where there is limited distance from the green to the next tee....and this course is that style. Some fairways are close but overall the playability is very good. Fairway and greens in good shape. I shoot in the 80s and will return to The Club.

Threesome at 1:00pm. We all enjoyed the course, layout, hazard challenges and pace of play of the four hour round. I will return.

No ranger, ever. For a chilly Saturday morning, when beginners generally don't appear, I don't understand how a Jaworski course can ignore slow pace of play. I like the course. I like the people. But the pace is brutal. The layout allows you to see the gaps between groups. Too much waiting on tee box [Hole #3 there were two foursomes]. Yet nobody at the course seems to notice or care.
I'd rather play on an average course with better pace of play.
