They are doing some heavy work on the front nine (French drains, etc.) so it does not worth the money right now.

They told me they only have 20 golf carts!
That's the excuse they gave me when I showed up at noon - that they had been out of golf carts for already an hour or so. It was 98+ degrees and I had to walk the whole course. I ended up with sunstroke which lead to a very unpleasant ending to my vacation in Marrakech.
How can you have so few carts when you have weather like that?

The course is in a good shape and it's a nice track but pace of play is brutal. There is a cart girl but no marshal...

The gap between tee times is only 8 minutes which results in 2 (up to 3) groups waiting for the green to clear on par 3.
And complaining to the marshal about the pace of play is useless, as the only response you get is "it's very busy today"...
They do not understand that 8 minutes between tee times is the reason why this course plays so slow..

We had a si some ahead of us and it seems the staff didn’t care. The pace was so bad that the twosome playing with us quit on #14.

When we booked our tee time we were told the course was in great shape but in fact greens and fairways had just been punched and sanded. A complete waste of time and money.

I chose to play at Peacock Gap today because there were aerification alerts for a couple of courses in Napa.
I learned the hard way that the greens at Peacock had just been sanded...

Thank you so much for your review! Things have certainly been crazy during the COVID era with business levels 200%+ of what they were just a year ago. That has created more golfers and at times more pace challenges to manage. Although we are certainly doing our best to manage pace through these times. Beautiful scenery and great layout.
Sky Lake is a much nicer course than the other one I played in Hanoi (BRG Legend Hill)
The greens ran true but were a bit slow to my liking (8.3)
