work on your aim

This course demands almost pinpoint accuracy, there is a nice mixture of narrow tree infested fairways with some wide open big hitting holes,
The course requires you to use some strategy off the tee on the narrow spots and several players I've talked to would love to bring a chainsaw on their next visit.
Honestly it's not for those who prefer a links style course. There are some truly ball eating holes and I wouldn't take a beginner there.
It's a hilly course as well and you'll feel it if you choose to walk.
The greens vary a bit in texture and speed depending on shade and some greens get quite a bit of pine needles accumulated toward the end of the day or on windy days.

long beautiful course

Everything about Suncadia is first class.
One of my favorite courses it has everything and is well managed for play with a roving marshal to keep the pace. The scenery is spectacular and I often see deer and an occasional elk.
It's one of those courses you like to get there at least an hour if not more ahead of your tee time to have a coffee or something to eat before heading out to the driving range to warm up.
The chipping area next to the driving range is realistic to the course as well as the putting green
and are thoughtfully arranged to bring you to the first tee and your check in with the course director.
Number ten is the feature hole and if you can skim the tree's to the left side and carry the bunkers it's a very makable birdie hole with a breathtaking view. I have yet to stay at the hotel but have heard great reviews. some of the little things on the course lie no water in the ball cleaners or too few garbage cans are minor issues we've seen, but the overall condition of the course has been excellent in my visits spanning spring summer and fall.
This course can be very windy at times due to the proximity of the mountains but that also adds a certain challenge. If you don't like wind play the dog days of summer.
