El Campeón is a great course, and worth the 1-hour drive from Orlando. If you want a challenge, beyond the normal flat Florida courses, this is a great place to try.

Staff is always friendly. The course is in very good shape from tee to green.

The only downside is the 8-minutes between tee times, which contributes to a slower pace of play. We were right about 4 1/2 hours.

I loved the course layout, elevation changes, and amazing views.

The condition of the greens was terrible. Almost every green had some damage or patching going on. Many of the tee boxes are also in need of repair. Hopefully the maintenance crew can turn this around, because the course is beautiful.

The staff were all very nice.

I was visiting from Florida, and would love to play here again, under better conditions.

First time in Sedona, and I brought my clubs to play golf for two days, after hiking and sight seeing for five days.

The course is in great condition, offers a good challenge to any level player, and the staff was awesome.

The Mountain views were a spectacular backdrop!

Our 9:00a start time was delayed for an hour, because the management booked a tourney on all three 9’s for Sunday morning.

The staff was great — not their fault at all.

Completely incompetent management to book a tournament and impact all the golfers who actually enjoy the course.

Definitely like to play Twin Rivers — great layout, and friendly staff.

Overall I’m very happy with how the ownership with the City of Oviedo has improved this course.

Sandtraps are are in great shape (yes, I spent some time there), and “most” of the greens are in good condition. There are a few greens that really need some improvement, due to bare patches.

We played Las Colinas a few months ago and decided to return to Mission Inn the day after Christmas to play El Campeon. We drove and hour, and expected a full course.

Pace of play was spot on — never waited, and never pushed.

The course was in great condition tee to green, and the hills provided some challenges you don’t often get in central Florida, and some great views too.

Definitely worth the drive — we’ll be back!

Played in December, and the course was in good shape. Right now, the greens are unplayable.

Hope ithe greens conditions improve soon, because this is a fine course.

It’s been a few years since I’ve played here, and based on the conditions of the course, there’s no reason to go back anytime soon. There are too many better options in the Orlando area at the same price point.

Tee boxes and fairways were in horrible condition — crab grass, dirt patches, and obviously no care for the course. It’s a shame, because it’s really a nice layout.

The greens were acceptable, thankfully.

Very nice course layout, including blind tee shots, and multi-level greens. The fairways are in sub-par condition, and definitely need some work.
