Como Crossings at Hawk's View Golf Club
Played On 09/03/2014Best option in Geneva area
Excellent design and very well maintained. This course is as good or better than anything in the area (including GenNat and GrandGen) without the stupid high pricing. The par 3course is a hoot if you have time for some extra holes.
The BOG
Played On 08/20/2014Most over-hyped course in the state
Nice facilities and staff. Never have I played a course that is as enjoyable. Numerous blind shots. The worst part is simply extremely poor markings on the course -no maps, no gps on carts. Insane for what you pay here. They have 9 bottles of pivot sand on all tees (including par 5 and 4s, yet they can't be troubled to put up any type of info anywhere on how to have an idea to best play the hole. Just hit over the hill and hope seems to be the order of the day. I expected much more from an Arnold Palmer design.
Trevino at Geneva National Golf Club
Played On 08/01/2013Excellent facility
Trevino course was challenging without being unfair. Huge greens with lots of hidden breaks. Expect a few 3 putts in your round - especially if playing for the first time. Pace of play was fantastic for first 13 holes - ran into slow group - no help from rangers on that. At "sticker price" this is kinda expensive for what you get, but if you can get the discounted times its a great value.
Thank you for taking time to assess our course conditions, facility & express your opinions. Of course, we appreciate all types of feedback so we can understand from the customers viewpoint and make corrective action.
Please note: We do not have GPS on our golf carts. However, we do have yardage books available for $5, the golf course is well marked on both sides of the fairway's sprinkler heads & cart paths are marked with yardages as well. In addition, we do have an APP for smart phones on our mobile website: m.golfthebog.com that provides aerial flyovers of each hole & also GPS yardages for each hole. Our mobile website is displayed in the message holder of each golf cart. We also demo LaserLink RH2 Rangefinders for trial. Customers can take out if available or reserve one with their tee time. Many golfers today currently own LaserLink, Bushnell, or Golf Buddy type yardage measuring devises or GPS Systems.
