A beautiful, tight, iron game challenge

Keep your driver in your bag here. The longest hole might only be 415 yards, but a premium is put on accuracy. All of the four par 3's, of three different lengths, demand that you hit a good iron off the tee. A smart player with good iron ball striking can easily shoot par here. Although it is an easier course, the gardens and wildlife, as well as the possibility of a better score, demand your return to the course; you need only play once. The course is so close to Grand River, yet it is peacefully hidden behind the Red Cedar river and is maintained VERY well. If you're all about the long ball and impressing your friends, this is not the place for you. The friendly staff completes the experience, and Sam, the custom club/club repair expert is superior at his work (he built me a set of custom clubs and I'm playing better than ever!). Because of it's simplicity, hometown feel, supreme maintenance and kind staff, it is one of the best golf experiences I have ever had. I was content to shoot 5 over playing their nine hole course twice.
