Even with tee boxes being aerated, the course was in great shape, and fun to play! Greens were tricky and rolling nicely! Willow Creek is one of my favorite courses to play.

Hadn't played Van Cortland, Vanny, in 40 years. Where I learned how to play. So I played for three days in a row. Ok, not much grass on Tee Boxes, fairways are ok, and the greens are slow. But, I loved it! I play 2-4 times a week, and on better conditions. But, this is Vanny, the Oldest Public Golf Course in America. Not long, except for 2 long par fives (600,550), and have to be straight or start playing with some trees. Staff and Pro were great during this time of Covid.

Tee boxes and fairways could use some work, and greens were slow, but I loved it! It's Vanny, the oldest public golf course in America. Two of the longest par 5's (615,600) were a challenge and keep the ball straight or you are playing around some trees. Alot of fun!

Very nice tree lined, hilly golf course, where course knowledge is a plus! . You are rewarded for good tee shots but you better read that putt again.

Great layout, with very nice fairways, and some tricky greens.
Play a few times a week, and try to venture outside of long island NY. With 5 great courses at Bethpage, why leave...right. But, I like taking golf road trips and this enabled me to play at Cold Spring Country Club.
