Am 70 yo male, cap=23.
Course was well laid out . Played from middle( white) tees. Not sure what the slope rating is for those tees, but personally I would say the slope rating from white tees should be in 118-119 range. There was water on most holes, but rarely did water placement cause problems if one could hit the ball relatively straight. Most holes were straight; very few doglegs. Distances on almost all holes were ok for 3 wood. I did not even carry a driver. Par 3’s were very short. Par 4’s were either short or average length. Par 5’s were mostly short. Fairways were wide. Roughs were very short and not problematic. Course was Robbers Row( I think that was the name). Played 7/11 at 12:45 tee time. Low 90’s temp. No one was pushing us. Golfnow deal was about 38 bucks incl processing fee. Very good value. Very well maintained course. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend as good value IF using discount golf service.

Fairways pretty wide. Water on most holes, but usually not problematic. It helps greatly to have someone with you who is familiar with the course; a couple holes have water in unpredictable unmarked spots. Most water is marked by tall grasses visible from 150 yards. Greens great( 17 of 18). Tee boxes pretty chewed up( we tees off at 12:30). Roughs very short and no problems. Course length needed driver on at least 2 holes( I teed off on par 4’s and 5’s with 3 wood and found water on one hole because I did not bring driver). I am 70 yo make 23 handicap and shot 1 over cap. However I did not play particularly well. I would give course a personal scope rating of about 120. Not a difficult course. Played Galleon and the other 9 hole segment( cannot remember name, but it was not the Brigantine 9 holes).
