My regular Saturday group has been playing here for about 2 months every Saturday. We love this course , the layout is challenging but fair. The greens are perfect and roll very true if you are able to read the breaks. The cart and bag guys are the best I have ever run into. The only gripe I have is the 18th hole can ruin a good round. In my opinion All in all a great golf course.

The greens are very good. The whole course is in good shape with few exceptions. The crabgrass is a pain but all the area courses are dealing with it do to the dry spring so I am told. We actually played 2 weeks in a row here and will be back after the aerification is done.

We hadn't played here in over a year because we could never get an early tee time. However this week we got the first time at 7am which is what we like due to some of the group working Saturdays. I immediately noticed that it appears that most of the effort must be going to the private course. There was a lot of browned out and bare areas on the fairways and around the greens. This was not the case before they reopened the private course. Maybe that is why that first time was open. I do understand that a private course comes with members paying usually a lot of money so they should have pristine conditions. However don't let a nice course go just to please a few members. The greens were good with nice speed and they rolled true but again some had bare spots. I am only speculating but I have seen it before and when I mentioned it at the cart return I did not get any pushback. In fact one guy just going out agreed with me so sorry but I know you need honest feedback.

This course is a real gem on the Treasure Coast of Florida. There are several holes that need your attention as to where to leave your ball if you miss your target. 8 and 9 come to mind for that. We saw a lot of gators lurking around and several species of birds. This is a great course to get out of the city and see the countryside.

Our regular Saturday group have fallen in love with this course. We were the 2nd group out and we had 2 issues. The fog on 4 and the sun on 5 and 6. Things that the course can't control. I'll take some fog and lots of sun anyday. The conditions have improved here amazingly in the last year. The greens are maybe the best we putt on in the area, the fairways are grassy even though not a lot of rain. The coolest thing was the gator lounging by the 11th green. There were a lot of gators around the whole course but that big boy was laying sleeping while my buddy hit his 2nd shot about 20 feet away from him.

It was about 6 months since we played this course. As always the greens were very good and pace of play very nice. The course makes you think about each shot and I like that aspect. My only issue was the bathrooms are still in a little trailer.

I am actually a member here and the new management team along with the new maintenance crew are bringing this course back quickly. The course had gotten almost unplayable before these guys came in. Now it is clean, the rough is mowed, and the trees are trimmed. This tee time was for my regular Saturday group and before the change I was almost ashamed to take them here. Now I am proud to take them and although it was just 1 other golfer with me he enjoyed himself and commented on the changes he saw.

My regular foursome has played here many times and the course is always in great shape. We had some rain the Friday before this round so there were some wet areas but no car path only restrictions etc. due to the rain. The cart paths are an issue and when they are wet with large puddles movement between holes slow down a lot. Not a big deal I am just telling you what we as a foursome think. When we checked in we found out that there was a tournament scheduled with a 9:30 shotgun start. We teed off at 7:10 and never ran into the tournament. We feel that we should be informed about tournaments when booking rounds so we can make a decision if we want to chance the delay or not. We have had some delays at other courses that were very disappointing due to tournaments. All in all a great day of golf at a great course.

The changes that are being made are starting to be noticed. The rough is cut, the greens are good,(could be better if everyone fixed their ball marks) and the staff is very friendly for a change. The only issue I have is the traps are not being maintained and that gives players who don't rake them anyway an excuse. This is the best draining course in the area and we never get a cart path only round.I play here 3 times a week.

We had played here a few times before and were surprised to see the restaurant was gone. There was a trailer with 3 porta potties each which was quite disappointing. However the golf course and this is what is really important was excellent through and through. The greens were the best I have played on in a long long time. The visuals from the private jets taking off and landing was awesome. We will be back and it will be soon.

I always get our group an early tee time and today was no different. We had a 7 am tee time and I was there at 6:15. No problem at all that no one from the course was there. They got there around 6:30 and I waited a while before checking in. I work with customers early also and realize the staff needed time to open and get things going. I saw the starter come out so I went up to the door and it felt like it was out of square as the bottom came open but not the top. I pulled it harder and the door opened. Then I was rudely told that "Hey man the door is locked for a reason" . Well it wasn't completely locked and I did not appreciate the tone. We will probably be back because the other guys like the course but I will not be choosing this course for the rudeness of the pro shop staff. The cart guys were great. Sorry, but I think you need to know because another guy outside with me had the same type of experience another day.

My regular group has played here several times. The course is always well maintained. This time we actually had a foursome jump ahead at the first tee. They were very slow and finally let us pass on 10. There is no starter or ranger

I had not been to this course in about 2 years. The last time I played the course was not good at all. What a nice change they have made and the course was in really nice shape. The fairways and greens were fine, the tee boxes are being upgraded so I will not pass judgement on them.I will be back soon.

We were paired with another twosome who were very pleasant guys. The price was the best in the area for this time of year. The course was in great shape and the greens were great. Make sure you have this course on your list of courses to play.

It appears that the new owners are putting money into the course. The greens were supurb (smooth and fast). It is nice to see they are moving toward a public venue.

They redid the greens this summer and they were great. Someone said they are Tiffeagle grass. We are playing again this weekend both days.

My son took me to Birdsfoot for my birthday and I had a great time. The up and down layout makes you do a lot of guessing about which clubs to use. I am used to Florida and the flatness of the courses so this is a real challenge. I loved it. We hit our tee shots on 16 with a big wind behind then the rains came and kind of ruined the last 3 holes.

My son and I played early in the morning on a Friday. I am from Florida so the layout was completely different that what I am used to. I thought the course was great. We were not held up at all during the whole round. The greens were fine, in fact the whole course was fine. I liked the grass much better than Florida. Hopefully on my next visit to Pittsburgh we will be able to play it again.

Someone needs to get the name right on this course. It hasn't been Panther Woods for years. The course was excellent. The greens were redone last year and they are awesome. The humidity was high so the ball was not flying as far as normal but a very nice experience. Anyone who lives near Fort Pierce should go here all the time.

We played Saturday July 19th 2014. We went as a twosome and the starter paired us with another twosome. No problem (most golfers are great people). We played in about 3 hours and 15 minutes and enjoyed the course very much. It is a challenge but not punishing for bad shots. Great course can't wait to play again.
