The course was very challenging especially holes 2 -6. The greens were fast and true and the entire staff was friendly. I would definitely play again.

The course was too crowded to be an enjoyable round. The management should consider charging a bit more and reducing the amount of players. The greens and tees show signs of over use and need quite a bit of help. The employees are friendly and helpful.
Pleasant Round
The staff was very friendly. We arrived early and they did their best to accommodate us and snuck us in a little early. The greens were a little rough but overall it was a fun course to play.

I have played this course since the early nineties and I can honestly say it is the end of an era. I have not played it in the last two years and was completely shocked by the overall condition. It is without doubt, the worst condition of any course I have played. It has the appearance of a course with an uncertain future. The sandtraps were unplayable and the greens were horrifying. There are too many good golfcourses in this price range to spend your money here.

I was quite impressed with this course. I had played all the Shanty courses except this one so I decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. The greens were in exceptional condition but not so fast to make it too challenging. I can't wait to play this course again.
The Bellaire Centennial Golf Course

Our first impression upon arriving at the course was good as the course was green, scenic and the staff was friendly but it changed once we reached the first green. I can honestly say I have never played on worse greens. It was almost impossible to hit the ball hard enough to get to the hole and if you were fortunate to get to the hole, it was almost impossible to be on line. My ball was once stopped by a mushroom growing in the green.
The course has tremendous potential and has many pretty holes. A complete makeover of the greens would make this course worth playing again.

The course was in very nice condition. The entire staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The pace of play was very slow but not so aggravating because the course is very beautiful.

I made the same mistake. The owners/employees are all over this website trying to spin it like people are being too picky. Anybody coming to play here will be disappointed. This doesn't belong in the Gaylord Mecca any longer.
