You will not be disappointed. I really loved it. I could have spent the whole day there.

Only one complaint, the course would not honor my Hawaii Resident card. I was visiting Maui from my home in Hawaii. All my ID and C/C say I live in Hawaii, but this course would not give me an islander rate. However they did make some other accommodation that cost me $20 more than it should have. Kahili GC did accept my Hawaiian resident card.

Not bad at all. A great was to spent a few hours golfing with out breaking the bank.

Enjoyed my round because the course was in very good shape. Great staff and grounds crew.

Really enjoyed playing Desert Springs G C, a course that was NOT full of the typical burned and bare spots from tee to green that I see at many/most courses in the summer. Kudos to the G C crew and management. Staff was very friendly and the price was right for golf and also for beer and a dog. It was a bit of a drive for me to get there but it is well worth it and I will go back to play here again soon. Plus a 3 1/2 hour round on a Saturday, how great is that.

Great conditions for this time of year and a real good value @ $32. Stayed at Starr Pass Golf Villas for $62/Night. They are right there at the clubhouse and Restaurant.

Greens and Fairways were in good shape. The Tee Boxes need attention, they were in very poor shape. The pace of play was SLOOOOOW! 4 hours to play 12 holes.

Value and Rating would have been GREAT and EXCELLENT except that the course allowed a 5some that was walking on the course (in front of us). After 4 hours and 14 holes I gave up and left. If you manage to avoid slow walkers and slow 5somes or at least encounter ones that will allow you to play through, you will totally enjoy this golf course. Also, take a scope or some sort of yardage device because there are few markers if any on or in the fairways and distances from the tee boxes to the fairway bunkers and corners on the dog legs would be hard to determine without one (not even a reference picture on the score card).
