Nice course & conditions, Friendly staff

Nice playable layout, forgiving off the tee on most of the holes. Interesting design. Conditions here seem to be holding up very well while lots of surrounding courses are suffering so it's obvious they care about having nice conditions.
I would play again in the area for sure but I don't think I'd recommend someone travel here from a distance as a must play, the amenities are "homey". The course property feels a bit small.

Solid old-style course

Nice conditions for a short classic course, plenty of dog legs and smallish fast greens to test you. Pace of play is an issue during prime times, course takes a lot of play. Some of the holes feel wedged in where they ran out of space or had some weird natural landscape they had to overcome or work into the hole. Back 9 is weird that way and unlike the front 9. Would play again but not in prime time.

It used to be a nicer old style course until they chopped it up and made it virtually unwalkable for all but the fit and young.

bunker hill is bunker hill

An interesting layout for a short course. it defends itself with smallish greens. Course conditions are usually average to worse than average factoring in the general weather at the time. I wouldn't make it a particular point to play this course but if you do, leave your driver and high expectations at home and you might have a good time!

Nice course, Absolutely Abysmal Time of Play

Nice course, variety of easy and not so easy holes. Conditions are generally good, greens roll fairly true but slowish. The pace of play is absolutely the worst thing, I've played this course more than a few times and even when I go prepared for a slow round I'm usually forcing myself to finish 18 watching the local members kick it around, wander aimlessly, chat and do everything but playing ready golf and holing out. Most likely due to an extremely large senior membership base that has retains the idea that "they paid their money, and they're going to take their time". Rangers are nonexistent". Expensive for the experience you'll have. Poor range facilities (matts are destroyed and machine isn't reliably operable. small putting green not conveniently located). Even time I play here I promise to myself it'll be the last, but it's so close I feel the need to give it a go. and regret it.

If they ever finish this place... Look Out!

This is a partially built golf course, so you have to know that going in. Once you set your expectations properly you might have a really good time! the holes that are carved into the landscape are well thought out and a challenge depending on the tees you select. the greens offer bail out opportunities but also some danger depending on pin placement. If this place ever finishes construction I think it'll challenge the Makefield Highlands type better-run places. Unfortunately, it's been years since they initially dug ground and it remains to be seen if this place will be swept away by the nationally felt anxiety towards the future of golf-course building. It's a shame, this could be a GEM.

It has the potential to be a nice facility, but some of the design is suspect as in two other Kelly Blake Moran designs in the area. As for challenging Makefield Highlands...not a chance. They just tried to start a golf league and eight people showed up.

Walked

Solid course for Seniors, Beginners, Juniors

Your classic 60s layout, lots of doglegs and small, elevated greens. An easy course for walking due to length and the abundance of tree cover. Conditions are usually a star lower on the back 9 due to it's proneness to being flooded even in moderated rains. Still, solid and enjoyable course for average players if you're in the mood to play hybrids only off the tee. If you're looking for a great day out, try someplace else but if you're just looking to get out no matter what, this is your place.
