Beautiful views and an incredible layout lead to one of the best golf experiences in the Austin area. The Greens are very quick and the undulation is perfect leading to a enjoyable challenge to make medium range putts. The fairways were cut to perfection leading to adequate roll out and perfect lies from all spots in the fairways, however the landing areas led to a shot placement of the tee that must be nearly perfect on the more challenging holes. While in winter conditions the rough was still a challenge and was no doubt a penalty to go into. The beverage cart made frequent stops and the staff on and off the course were helpful and kind over the course of the round. While the halfway house is ideal the lack of a proper club house at the Canyons course is a rather odd feel for the quality of the golfing experience. The course was rather open so pace of play was no issue and the round was completed in just under 4 hours. Overall this course is a standout in the Barton Springs complex for its ideal conditions, incredible layout, and challenge for all skill levels, this is a must visit when in the Austin area.

This municipal golf course is a must play, with super fast undulating greens, well placed bunkers, forced carries, and well maintained fairways and rough Delaware Springs is a great experience. While it is easy to double bogey holes when out of position the correct shots are ever so rewarding out here. One minor draw back is the service offered at the grill, while the food is great the service is slow and unkind which puts a damper on the feel of the course. The practice facilities are adequate and the layout is not the worst however there are some walks between holes. Overall this course is a top 10 course I have had the opportunity to play and look forward to making the trip to Burnet once more to play the incredible little track.

This is one of my all time favorite courses, I mean what other course has a giant granite outcropping in the middle of a hole? The greens are very quick and have lots of break, the layout is exceptional and you can score low here. This entire course is one of the best in its area and not to mention the exceptional food!!

This fun little track is filled with challenging and picturesque holes that can reward you if you are an accurate golfer. The everyday players out here are extremely good and welcoming to friendly outsiders. The staff is relaxed there to have fun and help you out, they are relaxed on dress code but i would still wear o collared shirt. This course as crushed granite cart paths and well kept carts for a small town course. The greens are receptive and roll true in most parts. Overall this is an exceptional course for a low price.

Grey Rock is a great course with a rewarding yet challenging layout. The practice facility's are great and the staff is very kind. The greens have consistently gotten quicker over the past year and the city has improved the conditions greatly. Even the senior players and walkers play quick on this course and everyone is willing to let you through. One of my favorite courses in this area!

The greens here are quick and a fun challenge to putt on. The front and back nine are challenging but fun when hit in the correct spot. The staff is laid back and friendly and the carts are rather quick.

Hard to review this course after playing Red Hawk but we were visiting the area and one of our old friends who is a member got us on. The course is a fun layout and a gem nestled in the desert.
