Well playing slow always increases your strokes and this round confirms this thought. My wife does not understand golf nd thinks it’s a dumb game since you pay a lot of money to try to hit the ball less!!! Guess she’s right but our group got their moneys worth yesterday.

Marshall did not work to speed up play, several holes in front of us on the back nine were empty with golfers taking numerous shots in front of us..we saw 3 foursomes. I e played this course for 32 years and the pace of play is terrible.

Never a bad time of the year to play these courses. Greens rolled smoothly and consistent and fareways were lush.

Nice turf and green roll was consistent. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Lots of brown turf, greens fast and course getting a lot of foliage removed

Course as a whole was very dry with some extreme dried out areas. Greens ran very fast and most could not hold a shot. Ground crews removing foliage in several areas and the once attractive course looks so barren that some holes look unrecognizable.

Nice to play again, consistent layout but retapping of the greens made putting inconsistent.

Ranger on the course did not speed up play of groups who did not have any golf course edict and he disappeared after 6 holes. There were 4 groups waiting to tee off on the 9th hole and we waited to watch the group on the green hit multiple shots of practice before moving on.

I’ve played this course for 31 years and know to go elsewhere during snow bird season but after this round and seeing the lack of course management I may not return. If Mike Alllred reads these reviews I hope he makes some changes.

The course needs to instruct the staff to monitor slow pace groups. We are all out for a good time but having groups walk to weeds for a lost ball for 10 minutes plus is nuts! I’ve played this course several times and slow play is the norm. The staff are very nice people but someone needs to take charge and move groups along. Course is in great shape with some issues with greens but overall a good experience and ok value. If your in the area I do recommend to play Kiva but do study the course layout, it will help you in several blind and trouble areas.

Good mix of par 4’s and pin placements. Course needs a Marshall that moves slow groups along more affectively.

The course should review its price point for golf in my opinion rounds are $10-20 too high for this time of year.
