Played this in Feb. so it was in winter shape, but it was very well kept. Greens were excellent, fairways a little bare, but it is winter. Course is beautiful! Every bit as pretty as the Jekyll Island Courses. Good pace, friendly people, good price. If you are in South Georgia, play this course

This was a fun course to play. We played in the winter, so the course was in winter shape. The ground and tee boxes were very hard and really could use some water. The greens were excellent on the day I played. The hospitality was excellent, pace was great, an enjoyable day. For the money, you can't beat it! Enjoy!!

This is a great course that is located very near downtown Houston. It is in great shape, good fairways, nicely kept greens. No complaints about this course, other than the fact it is tough in places. We played this and the Highlands. Both are in great shape, I thought the Highlands were tougher than the Lakes. Have fun!!!

This is a nice course that has been redone, and taken care of. The greens were the best we have played this winter. The fairways are in good shape and well kept. The management of the course isn't too keen on Golf Now Customers, so be prepared for that when you come in. If you call and ask if they are on Golf Now the Pro Shop people will tell you no!!! Other than that it was a great day and good course

This is an outstanding dunes type course. The front nine is absolutely beautiful. Very challenging, and perfectly laid out. The greens were trimmed and fast, the fairways were in great shape. One of the prettiest nine holes I have played. The back nine is challenging but does not have the beauty of the front. It is great shape, well kept, and great play. Just not as spectacular as the front. This will be a course that I play whenever I am in the Morgan City area.

I liked this course. It is winter, so it plays like a winter course. The fairways had grass and the greens were mowed and fast. For the money, it was great. Great views and wonderful customer service.

It is winter, so the fairways and greens are in winter shape. Good for this time of year. The greens were very slick, some scalping, but all in all good putting surface. I enjoyed myself, and met a nice guy to play with. I will play again.

Really enjoyed this course. It was cold and a little wind, but very doable. The greens were the best in the area, and even though there has been a lot of rain, it was fun to play.

This is one of the original courses on Jekyll Island. Very very small greens, no cart path, (Drive on fairway), good condition. Lots of fun...alligators and all!

This is a good course with some of the rudest, slowest, and inconsiderate players I have ever experienced. We followed a twosome and a foursome for 16 holes with 6 groups held up behind us. The foursome would not let anyone play through and the twosome in front of us literally drove their cart three feet from the green. There were no rangers on the course and those that we reported this to, were unresponsive. BTW the twosome with the cart should not have been on the course anyway, as there was a cart path only rule that day because of recent over seeding. I believe this is a great course with wonderful holes, but the people ruined it for at least 25 people that had to follow this "privileged foursome".
