Second time playing this course. Summer rates are very affordable and good location. Unfortunately this course attracts many novice players that don’t know how to keep pace which leads to frustration for the rest of us. What’s worse was that a Marshall was nowhere to be found. Also $5.00 for a small bucket of balls for warmup but can only hit irons ? Good practice putting green but much slower than the course greens. I can see that the owner has spent money but the pace of play issue coupled with too many hackers will keep me from returning especially when there are so many better alternatives in the area.

Nice Florida course. Flat topography, water carries, not overly punitive rough. Excellent range, chipping and putting greens. Friendly staff and excellent pace of play. Best feature were the mini Verdi Bermuda greens. Ran very true and highly receptive. The layout was not necessarily to my liking. Too many short fairways before hazards but I'll know better for the next time I play it. I would say play this course but only if you can play at a discounted rate available online. $145 greens fees are too high for this track given that there are so many good courses in the area. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return after trying other area courses.

Played South Course today. Overall conditions were very good. Would have chosen excellent but several bunkers were in desperate need of sand and looked more like waste bunkers. Nevertheless, fairways were lush and tight, rough was moderately high and sticky, and the greens were very receptive and rolled true. Don't let the low slope level fool you, it's a shot makers course that demands placement over power. Plenty of water to give anyone pause, several water carries. 4-5 tee options for all skill levels. Accommodating staff that are happy to assist. Nice range and practice green (range balls extra). Great clubhouse for a meal or drink at the bar. Well supplied Proshop. Views of the surrounding mountains were incredible !

One of the best public courses I have ever played. Highly recommend this course !
