Northdale Golf Club
Played On 02/26/2017Don't leave ball above the flag on the greens!
Many greens are sloped back to front and they were running fast. Any ball above the hole was trouble. You're better off playing short on your approach shots.
Clearwater Country Club
Played On 02/19/2017Too Crowded
Nice course. Friendly staff. First time playing here. The course is a city course and is extremely tight and has many holes that over-lap and criss cross. There are many fences guarding adjacent tee boxes. Course is well maintained, but will not recommend due to the extreme tightness of the course.
Wentworth Golf Club
Played On 12/28/2016Tough Course
Course in nice shape. Greens rolled nice. Tee boxes a little rough and needed work. Front nine is tough. If you spray the ball around you're going to pay the price on the front nine. More open on the back. Would def refer this course, but it's not for the faint of heart or marginal player.
Heritage Harbor
Played On 12/23/2016Great Course! Good value.
Played here first time 12-23-16. Course in overall great shape. A few tee boxes were a little rough though. Short course from the whites, so you may want to consider playing the blues (adds 500 yards). Slow greens but rolled well. #18 is a bit of a jig saw puzzle with a massive waster area center fairway. Overall great place, nice staff, and will definitely re-play.
Sherman Hills Golf Club
Played On 11/27/2015Nice course...good value
A few of the greens on the back 9 were browned out in certain spots but overall a friendly staff and nice play to play golf!
Crescent Oaks Country Club
Played On 10/11/2015Very Nice Course but slow play.
Great course. Staff super friendly. Played on a Sunday morning and they allow their members/residence players priority for tee times. Play was really slow and I decided to play 9 instead of 18. I will try on a weekday instead. Really beautiful setting, course in great shape, greens roll nice, and the staff was great. Highly recommend this course. I didn't eat there but the clubhouse looked nice inside.
The Natural at Beaver Creek Resort
Played On 08/20/2015Challenging
Course was wet due to some showers, but was in great shape. Would recommend but not for the faint of heart.
Windermere Country Club
Played On 03/11/2015Dissapointed
The starter gave us a nice overview of the course before teeing off and said their course was in great shape. NOT. Best grass were the holes around the clubhouse. Hardpan around all tree=lines, bare spots on the fairways and some greens. The tee boxes are not level and needed to be cut.
Brooksville Country Club
Played On 03/06/2015Nice course
The quarry holes on the back nine are very cool and un-Florida like. Worth the money and nice course.
Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Club - Panther/Bobcat Course
Played On 01/18/2015Gator needed some work. Panther was nice.
My first time playing here. Played the Panther first nine and it needed work. tee boxes not level and lots of divots. Greens were spotty. Lots of roots around trees if youre in the rough. water in play. back nice is much nicer as I played the Panther. very nice greens. Gun range along the road was the only negative on the back nine. reasonable for the money but the front nine wasnt anything to write about.
Seven Hills Golfers Club
Played On 01/10/2015Got what I expected.
Paid $12 to play 18 holes with a cart. Guess you really cant complain. The rough was basically hard pan. Greens not bad and fast. Tee boxes in rough shape. Good little local practice course nothing more. No water at all and some challenging lies due to terrain and lack of grass.
Its great to hear the ranger gave you a nice overview of the course but our apologies for some of the fairway conditions. Email me directly so we can learn more about your experience at lucyteetimes@gmail.com
