Usually the pace is just over 4 hours but this round was about 4.5 hours. The course is in good shape and the layout is challenging. During season it is pretty pricey for a jam packed muni course.

We asked a single player to join our foursome after he made the turn since the Ranger had paired him with another single that quit after 9 holes. The Ranger who made the mistake then became quite belligerent when we suggested that he allow the guest to finish out his last few holes with us. I understand that five somes are not typically allowed but compounding his mistake with rude behavior is not welcoming to locals or out of town guests. We were moving along fine and a little courtesy and discretion would have been entirely appropriate. I've never seen this from a Ranger before and hope I don't again.
