For peak season they do shotgun start which is pretty well handled. Usually great folks to play with. Course in fine condition and some pin positions are a bit tough when put on slopey lies.

For the second time in a row I booked this course on random day. Second time delay of over 45 minutes and insufficient carts due to booking of some outing. Staff at check-in rudely ignores people at counter. No apologies or explanation of how much delay is happening. Worst of all I hear they are planning on buying Union Hills so expect that course to go further downhill from mid-management.

Course booked small tournament and didn’t block those times from public so double booked. Not enough carts here ever. New people at checking and marshal are bad.

Arrived early, never told they were 25 minutes behind. After first hole, there were 4 groups waiting on the second tee. Overall, round took 4.5 hours. Many fairways are already burned out with little to no grass present. No marshal moving on slow groups. Only plus to this round were playing partners and cart girl.

The Duke staff is great, from arrival to departure. Practice areas are in great shape - probably best variety for all shot practice. Course in great shape, very consistent. Speed of play was as expected for a Saturday.

Golfed at 2:30 and got discounted rate but still got 18 in. Course in great shape except for last 4-5 greens which were bumpy. Fairways in great shape, pace good. Course challenging at times, forgiving at others. Very little water to deal with - traps were 50/50 as to having good sand. Definitely a choice worth doing again.

On a cool overcast morning, played course with 13-year old son. Booked on golfnow but gave me junior rate! Nice. Got off earlier than scheduled. That's as far as good goes. Course in horrible condition. Tee boxes chewed up, little grass on them. Greens were hard and extremely fast, rough was either sandy weeds or overgrown dead long weeds.
