Boulder Creek Golf Club
Played On 08/25/2019Deathly Slow
This round was a comedy of errors. First off, the check-in process was painful. Their was a line to check in because the two people working in the clubhouse did not know how to run credit cards. This delay left us without time to hit range balls before our round. When we went to get a cart, none were available. We had to wait almost 20 minutes to get a cart because it was the Hunger Games with people trying to get one. Nobody was helping those with earlier tee times get a cart first. Once on the course, the pace was SSSSSSLLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW. It took 3 hours to play 9 holes. We abandoned ship at the turn because of the pace. The course has so much potential, but today was bad.

Played On 08/18/2018Lots of Bare Mud Patches
The course is okay, but has lots of mud patches in the fairways and around the greens. The greens were good. If they took care of the fairways and approach areas, it would get a much higher rating. Not a very long course from the tips. The pace of play was okay, but could have been slightly better. The ranger was trying to help, but not much you can do about slow/bad golfers.

Played On 08/04/2018Not as great as last time
I was looking forward to playing this course. However, it looks like it has taken a beating. The greens are rough and putts bounce. It was incredibly disappointing. Doesn’t look like people fix their pitch marks. The place of play was also extremely slow. Took almost 5 hours as a two-some. Ranger wasn’t really doing anything to help. The snack shop was also closed when we made the turn and we never saw the drink cart on the back side. They either had an off day or It definitely seems like this place has gone down hill.

Played On 08/13/2017Great Course...but Slow
This is one of my favorite courses in Cleveland. I play it a few times a month. However, it is been extremely slow the last few times I have played. After 2 1/2 hours for nine holes, I left without playing the back nine.

I've played this course 4-5 times in the last two months, and it is a a great course. However, the last two times I played, it has been extremely slow. On August 23rd, it took over 6 hours to ride 18 holes. When finished #1 on that day, there were 4 groups (1 on green, 1 on tee box, and 2 waiting to tee off) on #2 (a par 3). A ranger on that day told us they let people sneak on between scheduled groups. On September 6th, I quit after 9 holes due to it taking over 2.5 hours to play those as a single; even though I was told "it was wide open" by the starter.
I love the course and it is one of my favorites in the area (I drive an hour each way to play it), and will play it again. However, I need to forget these negative experiences before going back.

Played On 07/24/2014Great Experience
Nice straight forward course. Water on most holes, but it does not come into play. Greens are still too hard since the course is new, but they will be great once they soften.
As a first timer, I wish the course was better marked with yardages, colored flags to indicate pin position, or had been mapped for my GPS. The lack of distance knowledge cost me a few shots.
Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club
Played On 07/20/2014Slow and Shaggy
Pace of play was dreadfully slow. We were supposed to play 18, but left after 9 because it took 2.5 hours to play that. No ranger in sight to help.
Fairways were a little shaggy.
dapfsu137,
Thank you for taking the time to review our golf course. We are sorry that your experience with pace of play your past two times out has been an issue and hope this won't be an issue next time you play. We are thrilled you enjoy the course and hope to see you again soon!
