This course has good fairways, elevation changes, mature oak trees, well maintained sand traps, and generous greens. The par 5’s play over water and around sinkholes. Due to its elevation, the entire course drains well after rain storms. Overall, a good value. Like many older central Florida courses, the greens decline in the summer heat with weeds and large bare spots to navigate while putting. Management should consider replacing some of the greens in the near future.

Played this course two weeks after Hurricane Michael impacted Cordele with 100+ mph winds. Superintendent and staff are to be commended for a superb recovery effort. The course has been cleared of downed trees and branches, still a few limbs in the wooded areas. Fairways and greens are in excellent shape. Roughs are thick and fringes are well defined. Tee boxes and sand traps need a little attention. Pace of play was great and clubhouse staff were helpful.

The Orange County National courses continue to impress. Tee boxes and fairways were well manicured. Greens among the best in central Florida. Water features blend well with the mature oak trees. Practice facilities are second to none.

This course has manicured greens, and good fairways with subtle elevation changes.

I've played this course at different times of the year and the conditions are consistently good. Greens are true whether hot or cold. Staff members are friendly.
