I love to play golf in the weekday afternoons on a preferably sunny, warm day. I enjoy hilly, tree-lined traditional courses with a serene environment conducive to a quiet game. My favorite golf partner would be a nice gentleman who is a good golfer to help instill the betterment of my own game. Someone not too serious that we cannot enjoy the game if either of us is having a bad day. Mostly fun-loving to hit the little white ball around on a beautiful course to hopefully attain our best score!!

The course is in good shape but very hilly in places which is tough to tee off or get to ball with cart. I enjoyed playing and will come back again!!

Cherokee Run Golf Club

This course fell apart over the past few years and I quit going to it. The wrong people were managing it and let it go to POT! I had heard it was back in better shape, but did not believe it at first. Then I heard again from someone else, so I decided to give it a try. I was glad to see that it had better maintenance and still could use some grooming. But I enjoyed my round despite the lingering golf tournament in front of us. I will come back again, especially if they run some good deals. :)

Milton Country Club
Played On 05/15/2015Won't Play Here Again!!
The course was in poor shape even after the greens were punched 4 weeks prior. The fairways were scraggly with many bare spots of dirt with no grass. The holes are very far apart which makes for a longer day, but no one was on the course due to it's condition.
Huntsville Country Club
Played On 09/04/2014My buddy's home course and all is good.
It was not in as good shape as it has been in the past. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our play. I would play there again since my buddy used to be a member there and we know the course.
Woodmont Golf & Country Club

I have always loved Woodmont Golf Club but it was especially lush and green with all the rain we have been getting in Atlanta. The employees were very friendly from the ck-in at Pro Shop, starter, cart lady and snack bar which enhanced our overall experience with the golf. The course gives you such a challenge with a serene environment of quiet hills, trees, creeks and lakes. The greens could have had better maintenance on the ball marks, but despite our 15-minute downpour of rain delay, we had a very enjoyable day!!
