Checking in with the pro shop was a complete disaster! Upon arrival at the course the weather looked very threatening with considerable storms over the mountains to the West moving Eastward. Because of this condition I asked if a rain check could be issued if the storms prevailed and we couldn’t return to the course for the remainder of our round as a threesome. Disconcertingly the lady helping us was very rude saying, “no our policy is no rain checks”, pointing to a sign on the counter and then coarsely saying, “pay you play”, no refunds period! This is the only course in Las Vegas that has such a policy locking you off the property even though you might have played several holes and being unable to return due to hazardous weather conditions. Additionally this course packs the players in with minimal time between tee-times. After making the turn to hole number 10 we encountered 4 groups ahead of us on the hole making it 5 groups! We therefore called the pro shop to get a course ranger out to speed up the play, amazingly the Ranger never showed up, and it took 3 hours and 15 minutes to play the back nine. Totally unacceptable to say the least! Players beware of the inhospitable customer hospitality, and the horrendous playing conditions on this stacked and overpriced facility, and go elsewhere!

Awfully overbooked, to start 3 groups on every hole until getting to the 7th hole where they’re 4 groups! 3 hours to play 9 holes quit after 9.

Best of the best! Immaculate playing conditions, maintenance is incredible, Superintendent and His staff should all be given a raise.

Not one blade of grass out of place, awesome condition, perfect tees, fairways, and greens. What’s amazing is that the courses at Paiute are always 5 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all year round!!! High praise for the Superintendent and Staff!!!

Best conditions I have ever seen the Wolf Course in!!! Played by myself in 3 hours at a leisurely pace and there were only two other foursomes on the whole course. The Greens Maintenance Supervisor, and His staff should be highly praised for the exceptional conditioning of all 3 courses.

Chimera is losing the front nine greens mostly because of the lack of watering. Every bunker on the course is in dire need of work, they are literally quarry, un-groomed, disaster’s, and definitely, what’s in them, not raked by players! The course Superintendent should be fired for such neglect, but probably doesn’t have worker resources other than grass mowing personnel. Doing this to save costs at the player’s expense? Players, go elsewhere if you expect decent bunker play when in them.

Have never seen this course in such bad condition. If you like dormant grass and poorly, extensive patched greens, this is the place to go! The maintenance is horrendous, they must have cut back the irrigation too the absolute minimum because they are definetly losing the greens, and fairways that have huge bare spots. Additionally the pine trees are being lost to a desease, probably a boring beetle infestation. The Desert course is in worse condition, and we never saw anyone playing the track. Save your money and go elsewhere, this one has a long road too recovery!!!

I had a late morning tee-time and the tee sheet with the pro shop, and starter indicated the play would be as a threesome. First of all my checking in with the pro shop was horrendous, none of the staff, and starter under the spreading of the highly contagious Omicron were wearing face masks! Being immune compromised I wear double masks, gloves, and carry a full array of disinfection wipes too sanitize the golf cart. I requested an individual golf cart riding alone and the pro shop assistant said check with the starter . Upon arriving at the staging area there was another player who’s bag was on an adjacent cart , but no other player in sight for the threesome who the starter indicated hadn’t shown. Therefore I chose the other cart and started to thoroughly sanitize all touchable surfaces for safety. Our tee time was upon us and the starter was vehemently adamant about me not having my own cart and said to join the other player on his cart because they were slammed with players and short on carts, and now going off as a twosome. I told the starter I requested to ride alone while in the pro shop and was Covid 19 immune compromised and he said,“can’t do it, we can only put a barrier between you”, with the other player not wearing a mask, I said, “no way”, you either give me a single cart or I’m canceling this round. The starter then said, “you can have your own cart if you pay $40.00 in the pro shop too ride alone”! I immediately told the starter I would handle this issue in the pro shop and proceeded there. In the pro shop the head pro gave me the same argument saying if you pay $40.00 you can ride alone, so they were slammed for carts contentions didn’t hold any water as a valid reason. So it was originally okay to have 2 carts for the anticipated foursome slot tee time which turned into a threesome and eventually a twosome, but not have a single cart unless you paid $40.00 because you’re slammed for overbooking the course and short on carts! What a fiasco, I demanded a refund, or rain check and the head pro said no, contact golf now which I did and thoroughly explained the situation to them. Amazingly when I eventually left the golf course almost an hour later I saw a single player with a cart on the first hole with a threesome ahead of him, and another threesome ahead of the threesome, slammed for carts, I don’t think so! Worst of all nobody complying with reasonable Covid-19 protocols to the detriment of the customer in a highly contagious public environment wether mandated, or not!!! That was the final straw that broke the camel’s back, this course is notorious for overbooking, and highly lacking in customer service all for the almighty dollar. Ask me if I’ll be back anytime soon, that’s a BIG NO!!!

Ever since The Legacy was fighting a takeover by a developer, and closed for over a year, the course has definitely taken a nosedive. Shoddy greens, barren spotty fairways, burned out grass, clumpy po grass, and cart paths that are heat heaved and rival a washboard country road-all combine for the worst conditioned course in Vegas. Avoid at all costs!!!

We played as a twosome because the other 2 didn’t get too the tee in time. We waited on every shot because there was 3, or 4 foursomes on most holes at one time. No ranger to move people along! It was so frustrating , so we just drove in and went home, and only played 10 holes in 3 hours!!!

All the regular tees were being over seeded and moved up shortening the course considerably. There was no indication online when making the reservation that this was the condition, only that the course doesn’t over seed for the Winter months which supposedly improves the Summer grass conditions.

Pro shop wouldn’t dispatch a golf cart to the bag drop area and said we had to carry our bags through the main entrance to the staging area.. Course had a tournament, which the pro shop never informed us of , resulting in us playing the front nine twice because of the back nine gridlock. The pro shop attendant wouldn’t give us a rain check without asking the course manager who was texted and refused. This resulted in us playing the front nine again. The course isn’t a 4 star as advertised, more like a 1 Star, poor greens, fairways and bunkers that wouldn’t be suitable for a cat litter box! Awful, Awful, Awful

Rough all dirt and patchy dried out grass with a lot of cart damage. Fairways patchy in areas but playable, greens in excellent shape considering the drought stricken areas.

Upon an early arrival (1hr & 15 min) at the course, the Pro Shop never told us that there would be a delay of 16 minutes for our tee- time. This was discovered after checking with the starter, Gary, who was very offensive after we registered our discontent about not honoring our tee-time, and inquiry about possibly getting off earlier by joining anybody teeing off as a twosome. Gary said, "are you kidding" they were slammed, and asked if I was trying to get on the bad side of him, and he stated, "there's your problem" when we indicated the tee- time was made through the Golf Now Web-Site. The starter told us that due to the morning shotgun the Director Of Golf didn't schedule enough morning shotgun times, and allowed to much crossover time resulting in the afternoon tee- time delays. We were upset that the delayed time would probably not allow us to finish until after sunset, which happened anyway because of the heavy afternoon tee time scheduling, and extremely slow play! We addressed these issues with the Pro Shop Staff expressing our frustrations and interaction with Gary the starter. Additionally extreme slow course play with no course Ranger to speed play along compounded our foursome's frustrations! Bottom line is, if you can't support tee-times made through Golf Now, then don't advertise them online to maximize course play at the golfers expense and disadvantage.
