greens were easy to read (fast and true)

While not as blazing fast as The Emerald, the green speed was quick so practice putting before your round to get a few extra birdies. All that's needed is to get a good read and start the ball rolling, the perfectly smooth greens and your read will do the rest. Careful on downhill putts; best to lag it to what you think will be short and it will run right up to the hole.

Really, white tees AND silver-white tees?

I could see what looked like the white tees so drove up to them only to be fooled SEVERAL times as I saw that they were the silver-white tees that looked nearly exactly like the white tees until you stepped out of the cart and got within 10 feet of them.

Thanks capassa for the 5 star review. Your insight about the color of the tee markers will be taken under advisement. Go Green!

windy but actually more challenging and fun

When in Hawaii, don't be surprised by 30 mph winds. Golf can still be quite fun but will take a few holes to adjust to the conditions that the old country founders of the game must have played in. Don't be disappointed that you don't shoot your best round since you will undoubtedly have several shots that start out over a hazard and get blown into the fairway. The same will happen the "other way" too, but that's fair unless you've adjusted for a 20 yard wind movement.
