3 tee times were taken by a bachelor party and most came in with no golf clubs, balls, etc. by hole 13, the same group had it backed up to where 3 groups were waiting to tee off. We passed the ranger on 14 parked in the woods smoking a cigar and that’s the only time we saw him. For $70+ on a Saturday, it wasn’t worth the 5.5 hour round.

17 green was in need of help. Some tee boxes look like they’re under repair. Fairways and greens were in great shape as usual! I will play out here any chance I get.

Course was in pristine condition as usual. Only 1 bunker needed some help but no other complaints.

I have always been a fan of Emerald lake and is typically one of my favorite courses to play in the Charlotte area. However, since they built their new clubhouse and restaurant, they have priced themselves out of the golfing market in Charlotte. Emerald lake does not earn a $65 pp round (not many in Charlotte do. Also, if you are going to continue to charge that much, at least keep the pace of play to less than 5 hours.

As for the course, the fairways, greens, and traps were all in excellent condition. Leaves suck as always but that's anywhere this time of year.

I think Emerald lake is a great course in the area and would love to see their prices get more competitive in the Summer with other courses. Right now, there are a lot of courses in the charlotte area that offer a better price and course.

I played this course 4 years ago and it is a completely different course since then!. The front 9 has been completely redone, all holes have new greens, fairways and bunkers. The practice facility is by far the best in the area! It's easy to see why they are sold out of memberships.

My only complaint would be that the greens were too hard and cut way short (but in perfect condition). Nothing would check and regardless how much spin you have on your ball, your going off the backside of the green. Greens rolled well though it felt like putting on concrete.
