I play this course once per month. Very fun course to play. Scooters are fun to ride.

Unfortunately, this Saturday the play was very slow. This Saturday they allowed fivesomes on the course. Not sure it started this way but they were out on the course. Play came to a screeching halt. We had up to 3 groups waiting on tee boxes. There were no marshals out monitoring play.

The #1 reason people are quitting golf is because of slow play. Why would courses not do more to prevent slow play? There were groups quitting and heading home because of this slow play.

Course is fun and challenging.

Unfortunately, just like many courses, play was very slow. Had up to 3 groups waiting on certain tee boxes.

Good thing is they had a Marshall working but unfortunately the Marshall was not effective.

Stayed slow all day.

Still like the course and will be back.

Greens were in very poor condition. Very bumpy.

Unfortunately the management is letting this course go. I understand that this course is barely holding on and they can’t spend money to take care of course.

The fairways are getting bare in many spots.

Be careful when in bunkers. Rocks are very large and will ruin your clubs. My playing partner put a big gouge in his nine iron. Management will do nothing to help fix and said all courses sand traps have rocks which is not true. Management doesn’t care about the course or it’s customers that patronize the course. Very sad.

We play this course once per month. Course is very fun to play. Unfortunately, pace of play is very slow and there are no marshals. Also, only a couple of drinking fountains. Make sure you bring lots of water in the summer.

I have had issues with the staff in the past. They closed the course on a rainy day but neglected to call and cancel my start time. I drove over an hour only to find out the course closed. I played another local course that did not close.

This day the staff was rude. Have no other way of putting it. The course was very busy but no reason to be rude. I also paid for a golf cart but decided to walk. They were running out of carts all day so you would think they would appreciate my helping them out. I received no “thank you”.

Once again I have been disappointed by the course staff. Second time. Not sure how many more I can take until I stop patronizing this course. Many options.

Course is fun to play. It is in great shape.

Only issue is pace of play. We had two groups Waiting on many holes. Need Marshall out on course keeping the groups moving.

Having said this we will continue to go back to this course.

Lone Tree is in very good condition. Probably the best I’ve seen. Greens are coming in and rolling nice. Still some trouble with a couple of the greens. Fairways are in great shape also. The staff should be commended for getting the course back in shape after the last few years.

The only complaint is I played the night of a league and they had groups of 6 playing. Very slow and the groups were not letting other faster groups play through.

I really appreciate the youth programs they have going and allowing the high school teams to play matches.

Deer Ridge is in great shape. The greens are rolling pretty good. You can make putts with a good stroke.

Deer Ridge management is very generous letting the golf teams from the local high schools to play matches and play on weekends at a reduced price.

We played this past weekend and wanted to play more. There was no one out playing in the afternoon so we wanted to play more. Replay rate was a little high. We asked for a break since we payed full price earlier.

The person in the clubhouse would not budge so we left and played alone Tree for less than the replay rate.

They had not players. Not sure why they let us walk?

I reviewed the course about 4 weeks ago and commented on the slow play and fivesomes. I said I was not going back in a while but I did go back due to time. I also said the course would not make any changes based off my review. Unfortunately I was right. We once again ran into very slow play and the big reason was fivesomes out on the course. Also doesn’t help that these groups don’t understand course etiquette and let faster groups play through.
I will not be going back to this course.

Course let a tournament go out on a Saturday morning. Many of the groups were fivesomes. Very slow play. We had 3 groups waiting on many holes. Course Marshall went home at noon. Round of golf took close to 6 hours.

Fun course and one of my favorites to play but won’t be going back for a while. Don’t think they will care since many courses have closed and management won’t be concerned. The course staff is friendly and want to help but their hands are tied.

Course and greens were in great shape. Weather was nice so there were a lot of people on the course. Play was very slow. Over 5 hour round despite the course having marshalls. They were not effective with keeping pace of play. I phoned the clubhouse to inform them of the slow play. We had 3 groups waiting on the tee box on certain holes. I will not be back for a long time due to the slow play.

Played the course after quite a bit of rain. The course was soggy but overall handled the rain well. The layout is challenging and fun to play.

Fun course to play. Course is usually in good shape but have seen conditions get worse over the past month. Not sure if draught is the cause but the greens are in horrible condition.

Course is well maintained. Enough challenging holes to keep you on your game.
