Nice tee boxes, fairways have enough challenges to make the game interesting, the greens are undulating but puttable. Sand was well kept. hazards were placed for the average to good golfers. I enjoyed tge course and would like to play it again now that I know the layout.

The course was in good shape considering the time of year. Play moved well. I found it to be a good place to practice my short game. I'll play this course again! They were very nice and welcoming!

I had played this course when it was a private club. Coming back after the town of Oro Valley purchased it as a municipal course was a nice surprise. The course was in great shape and plays a little long for me but I'm 71. haha

It is a tremendous value with full 36 holes and a club house and gym that rivals any private club. The staff was great and very helpful. The pro shop had some good buys on current merchandise.

I would play here again and will recommend it to my friends. Good job Oro Valley! As your name implies, you are golden!!

This was my first play at this club. The experience could not have been better. It started with a warm welcome from the pro shop including full explanation of the facilities and course rules. This was helpful and made me feel that the membership was welcome to visitors and wished everyone to enjoy the life that they lived on a daily basis.

I was paired with a local threesome. Again, they were welcoming and inclusive. Play was uninterupted by delays while marshals monitored pace. The course was well laid out, chalenging and in great shape. The only criticism was that the greens were extremely fast. I measure every put on every course. This course will cause golfer to lose confidence quickly when your "gimme" put rolls by eight foot. It will take some play to adjust to the speed of these greens.

After your round, the clubhouse offers a full restuarant and bar with food availability. Beautiful and spacious! Obviously I enjoyed myself here and could recommend this Country Club to all.

I've played this course many times. The design is superb and long enough to be challenging. The course is in great shape and invites every level player to have a goid and challenging day! I highly recommend this course.

The club house, pro shop, bar and resturant are well stocked and inviting. Good food and service is friendly. There's no reason to worry about spending the day at the course.

I'll be back here again for sure!!

I had played this course 25 years ago but had heard that it went to seed. After many owners, I am happy to report that the new owner, Morgan North, has brought it back to ots oroginal beauty. This course could not look or play better! congratulations to all who made this happen! I'll definitely be back'!

The course is better than I am. It is such a challenge and very unforgiving. I have played it three times and each time it lets me play with a little more grace. My recommendation is not to play this course unless you are more than a weekend golfer.

One of the players I was to play with (paired by the starter) was very ill. She was afraid I would catch what she had so she was nice enough to ask that they put me in a seperate cart. There was no attempt to resolve the situation. I thought that it was very inconsiderate.

I had not played El Rio for 15 years. Golf Now had a special so I took it. I am so glad I did! This course has recently been re worked and is in the best shape I ever saw it!! I lived in Tucson 15 years ago for 20 years and have recently moved back. I will definitely play El Rio again. Congratulations to the Management and Staff of this course. What a treasure in the center of Tucson.
