Fowler’s is a great P. Dye track. Unfortunately, this time around the course was almost under water. But, we played anyways. Staff couldn’t have been any nicer to its out of town guests.

FMs layout is one of the best anywhere, however 5 hr rounds, fairways cut way too close and damaged greens are your thing then go for it. I might recommend a friend play the course, then again I may not.

Wonderful assortment of holes....vast elevation changes....almost all greens raised.....friendly wide fairways...
....numerous tee areas.....over all a terrific track.....but lousy sandwiches.

Although the course has a decent layout, it is always in
lackluster shape. The greens are in good condition but extremely slow. I believe the course is just getting by and spending as little as possible to keep the course in good condition.

This course has a fine assortment of doglegs… They used to be accentuated by trees lining the fairways but about 10 years ago thousands of trees were removed and now the course is not as pretty and a tremendous amount of waste bunkers have been established… We did have a problem with a foursome that took time off for lunch and then attempted to jump back into play ....they backed up the entire course… And assistant professional and head profession we're out there often to monitor their play to keep play moving… This is the first time I've actually seen management try to resolve a problem… The management staff did a fine job of working with this foursome

I have played this course many times when I come to the Boca/Delray area. The course is always in fine condition and the fluffy lies in the rough make it easy to get the ball out and online. What makes this course fun is the abundance of dog legs. There isn't a finely rated hole in the world that probably isn't a dog leg. My only issues with the superintendent are the 2 things. 1) either buy new or spray paint the tee markers so they look nice and 2) fix the swales in the ground near where carts enter or exit a cement path. You can break your back riding over these ruts at half cart speed. These two issues would cost very little and make a big difference to the look and overall feel of the golf experience. One final note if I saw their sign correctly a bucket o beer was $21...way more expensive than so many other places. It turned us off for even going in after the round for a beer for what they might have charged.

This course is better than most courses on GolfNow...but it is typical FL course. Hard to be anything but on flat land. A lot of weeds but they were being treated. Greens in very good condition, but could have been a little faster. Bag boys very helpful.

Pine Ridge is a nice course just outside of Edgefield, SC. The course is in good condition, bunkers raked and greens immaculate. BUT, as other reviewers have said "very slow". If the greens keeper could get the stimp up 2 notches that would make this course all the better. It is also a drivers paradise with wide open terrain so let the bombing begin. The course has a very nice layout with a wonderful selection of doglegs. So bring your fades and draws with you. The card reads a slope of 120. I would say maybe 124. If they added some strategic bunkering in the fairways you could really make this course tantalizing. Fun course to play due to ability to "grip it and rip it" around dog legs.

greens were somewhat slow, but due to recent rain... fairways were good but poa in them? Bunkers could have been better raked....some bunkers had no rakes... but over all course was very good condition....

owners put little money into course, only bare minimum...so practice green and range always in deplorable condition....fairways are hard pan...but greens are not bad but extremely slow....it's too bad the poor conditions as the lay out isn't bad and could be a good course with some economic development by the owners...the one real positive is the course golf instructor, Ross Cash, who is terrific....I would recommend this course barely due to it being a decent lay out and if the cost is minimal....

I can't think of enough bad things to say about this course......I've played it multiple times over the years and this is the worst conditions I've ever seen. Weeds cover the entire grounds and even permeate the greens. Blown branches litter the course. There seemed to be little any grounds crew has done except maintain the bunkers into decent shape at best. Understand course is up for sale (not really sure) and may be why no money is going into course maintenance....golfers cutting in and skipping holes (3x); kids playing kick ball in the middle of the 18th fairway; no course ranger or supervision.......will never come back!

Although I would recommend, it is only because it is a good lay out. But, course is poorly run and money not being put back into it's maintenance. To wit - very few ball washers and when there is one no towel; no windshield on carts; tee areas very poor condition; weeds in bunkers; cart paths over grown by grass on both sides. Too bad as course could be such an award winning course.

The course is well maintained with difficult greens to read. Unfortunately the home owners have taken away the best hole on the course. A down hill par 4 with the second shot over water. Not anymore, the green is now on the fairway side of the water and makes for a much easier hole. The course can give you problems for a course that only measures less than 6200 yds.

After driving past this course for years I finally got a decent price on this web site...pleasantly surprised. Nice layout, scenic, and in very good condition. Staff could not have been more accommodating. When I get another decent price on this site I'll do it again.

Brambleton, I haven't played you in years....you're still a good test of golf although you have a slope of 126, you still need to hit the ball well here to score. Very good design with a lot of dog legs which make a course fun to play. I will be back. Starters, as with most course, are not to savy to keep things on time or pairing up singles.

Course is in fairly decent condition EXCEPT for the bunkers and the greens. Absolutely no sand in the bunkers; just hitting into solid ground and although the greens looked good they putted horribly. They are spongy and bumpy. No other course greens that I've played lately are anything as bad as BManor. Do they own a "roller"?

Worst maintained course I've played in years. As the other blogs have said the fairways are riddled with patches of no grass. But there are patches of nice grass around to move you ball to. However, the bunkers are not maintained at all and there are weeds growing everywhere around the tee boxes. With a little effort this course could at least become respectable. But that would require a Head Greenskeeper. Speaking of greens they were in very good condition. BTW the course has a decent layout and is challenging.

I've played this course many times....they never get you out on time during the winter months when many visitors are down from the north. They jam the people on and don't care. That aside they have just aerated (sp) the greens. They've been top dressed and actually play rather well. We had to play the back nine twice, but by today both 9's are open.

from check in to starter to marshaling this course is poorly managed....with crisp management this course could be a lot better......I would still recommend the course, slightly...

Goose Creek has been around for years and has had some big name talent cross it's fairways over the years. Always in good shape and a plus to the golfing establishment in No. VA.
