Whiskey Creek Golf Club
Played On 11/01/2017Best track around!
The best accessible golf course in the Greater Washington market. 18 gorgeous holes, each one strikingly different, in a terrific setting with multiple elevations. We played on 11/1 and still found the course in amazing shape. Fast greens, manicured fairways, beautiful vista's. Always the highlight of my golf season when I get to play Whiskey Creek!
P.B. Dye Golf Club
Played On 11/01/2016Worth the play!
I played this course a few times over the years and always found it to be a frustrating experience. Blamed it on the railroad ties, the huge sloped greens, or the water adjacent to #9 & #18 greens. Truth is, this is not a course for the 20+ handicapper. If you work the left side of most fairways and are putting OK you can break 90 and feel good about it. Course always seems to be in great shape and the more you play it the more comfortable you become. Add a congenial staff to the mix and it makes for a fine day of golf. I'm a believer!
Lake Presidential Golf Club
Played On 10/27/2015A "Must-play" in the DC-Balt. area!
Any true player who has yet to visit Lake Presidential needs to address that soon. This facility, from top to bottom, is one of the real treats in the Washington-Baltimore area. As pretty a golf course as you could find, with 18 individual holes that wrap around a huge man-made lake and never let up, you'll be glad you did. And you WILL come back! Relaxing in the terrific clubhouse after our round, my playing partners couldn't say enough about how enjoyable the day had been. Just a top-shelf layout with a friendly staff to match. Can't wait to get back there.
Fairway Hills Golf Club
Played On 10/20/2015Great value for the challenge
A true test from the blue tee's. Only 6000 yards, but with 131 slope, a good bit of course management is required. Ability to hit target area's is a must. A great challenge for anyone who takes their golf seriously. Sand traps were in great condition.
Worthington Manor Golf Club
Played On 08/18/2015Always a pleasure to play!
Absolutely enamored with the golf course, the staff and the overall facilities. Will definitely play again, and again, and again.
However, was not happy with the $11.90 in taxes and online fee's I was hit with on GolfNow. Will make it a point to review the true "overall" cost in the future. Probably could've played for a cheaper rate as a senior, booking thru the clubhouse. A little disappointing.
Richland Golf Club
Played On 9/5/2013Very challenging and extremely enjoyable. Will play it again soon.
Great course with great sports bar attached.........the best of both worlds. Fastest greens this side of Congressional. An absolute gem that does not get near the publicity it should.
Renditions Golf Course
Played On 8/1/2013Always a fun course to play.
Great clubhouse, great staff and 18 unique golf holes from all over the world. Two of the British Open holes (Royal Birkdale and Carnoustie) are just flat-out fun golf holes. The island-green 17th at Sawgrass as tough a par 3 as you'll find anywhere. And Amen Corner is as true a challenge as you can find outside of Augusta. Had'nt played the course in 6 years and, now, can't wait to get back! For a true golfer it would be very difficult not to enjoy this track.
Dear Golfer, Many Thanks for your kind words! We hope to see you again very soon at LPGC!
