There was a big shooting event there with hundreds of competitors and shotgun blasts going on every 4 seconds or so. With that said the course was ok, good greens but rock hard fairways and some goofy holes,especially # 3 on the Panther course where a large oak tree is less than 100 yards in front of the tee box directly in line with the fairway that sports OB on the left and H20 on the right. . The person in the pro shop was arrogant and condescending. That said, I will be back but not until the shooting event is over. Hopefully the pro shop will have gone to "smile school" and treat customers like customers by then and not like we are an obstacle in their quest to have a nice day personally

Good value for the money
If you can get this course on a hot deal it is worth it. The layout is good and the green complexes are as well but both the greens and fairways need grass growth. Fairways are rockhard in places and can result in ugly bounces. Bunkers need work and need to be raked More frequently than bi monthly. There is no driving range here but a “hitting net“ with about five stations

What a layout! We drove up from Tampa and got to the course. Unlike Tampa Brooksville has a lot of rolling hills and elevation changes. The layout is fantastic, the greens were plugged a couple of weeks ago and need about two more weeks and they should be terrific. They are undulating and once they quicken up you will want to be below the hole. Like Tampa they need rain and after a could of good storms the fairways will be in great shape. The quarry holes on the back nine are a real treat with three consecutive holes of forced carries and the remainder of the course is great. All in all we had a great experience and will go back a few more times this summer!
