Decent Shape
This is a fun little course for the price. Several of the greens were not in the best of shape. I feel like that has to do with the recent weather we have had and the lack of air moving through that section of the course. Overall, I shot several under playing from the back tees and had fun while honing in my wedge game. I’ll most definitely be back to play later in the season.
Great Summer Round
Hadn’t played this course in several months. The rain and summer season definitely did wonders for this little gem of a par three course. The greens were in very good shape. The roof was nice and thick. Most of the tee boxes were in decent shape with the exception of one or two. For $13 you cannot beat this fun little par three track. Hope the course condition stays the same throughout the rest of the season and into the fall.

Slow Round
First off the weather was absolutely phenomenal! Me and a buddy played with two singles to make up a foursome due to the course being so busy. The two singles were great playing partners and I enjoyed their company. The pace of play was horrendously slow. A threesome held up a foursome that was playing very poorly. It seems like we waited on every teebox and every green. I get that on a public course you will have those issues but no ranger was on the course to combat slow play. What should have been a 3 1/2 hour round turned into almost 5 hours. Overall, I will be back and play again as the course was in really good condition. I just wish the rangers would enforce the rules.

Decent Round
I played the par 3 course about 2 weeks ago after a lot of rain. The course was soggy then and it still is now. I will admit that the greens were in a little better shape. The bunkers need so much work it’s not even funny. Please work on the tee boxes and bunkers before spring and summer rolls around. The course has a lot of potential. I did manage to shoot a couple under despite the lackluster conditions.
Good Time
I played the part three course with a buddy today. The course layout is not challenging from the blue tees. It was a fun outing to be had on an early Sunday morning. The only negative thing I have to say is the course was a little soggy. That is to be expected considering the amount of rain we have had over the past month. A few of the greens were not in the best shape ever but they were not bad. I will definitely be back again to play the par three course along with the 18-hole championship course.

The course itself is not in the best shape. It’s mid April and you would think that the course was over-seeded in the winter and was already growing new grass. That is not the case at all. The course looks like it is dying. Multiple bare spots on the greens and the fairways are more like a cow pasture with multiple weeds throughout. I really can’t complain too much as I played 18 holes with a cart for $14. The course has tons of potential but needs a lot of work. I was not sure if the bunkers were bunkers or water hazards. Overall, I would play it again but there are better courses in the area for better prices.

I arrived at the course about 30 minutes early to my 8:00 AM tee time. I check in and pay my $37 fee. As I am sitting on the tee box waiting to tee off I’m advised I have to put my bag on a cart with a threesome ahead of me and play with them if I play. The starter had agreed for me to be a onesome as I had obligations later and needed to get done quickly. I was immediately advised by staff that I would not be allowed to play as a onesome. I did not mind playing with the theee other guys but the way the staff interacted with me completely made me lose all interest in playing golf at their course. I was refunded my greens fee. I asked the manager in the pro shop where the disconnect was and he stated some party line they have to give about no course in America let’s a onesome play by themselves on a Saturday morning. I beg to differ as I do it regularly. If they had advised me of a policy at the time of booking or even when I checked in that would have been okay. But to tell me that as I am about to tee off is crazy. It should also be noted that several other players, I’m assuming members, were riding alone in a cart. However I collected my money and left the course. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I was looking forward to playing what looked like a very nice course. Guess I will have to settle for me tee time at TPC Sawgrass later in the day.
Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing Par-3 Course at Crosswinds Golf Club.
